So it turns out, it's more than just the name that Apple borrowed. iPhone Duo is the first folding phone I've seen copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing system pretty much 1:1! iPhone Duo can treat each half of the folding display as separate, letting you dock an app to one side and view your home screen on the other, just like Surface Duo. The gestures for multitasking are identical between iPhone Duo and Surface Duo too. You drag an app to the side you want and it fills that half of the screen. You can pick the app up and move it to the other side, and everything will dynamically adjust. It even does the "automatic" multitasking that I've raved about on Surface Duo. If you open a link in an app, it'll move the app over and open the link in your browser. Surface Duo did this, and now iPhone Duo does too. I've been waiting for a folding phone to copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing behavior, and we finally have one in the form of iPhone Duo. Well done, Apple. Between the wide form factor like Surface Duo, the pen support like Surface Duo, and now the multitasking like Surface Duo... I always wondered "What if I port my three.js game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!

The Tesla Cybercab doesn't have ANY brake fluid. It is the first production vehicle to have a brake-by-wire system. Electronic actuators are responsible for the clamping pressure, rather than hydraulic fluid that you see in traditional vehicles. This system improves efficiency since the brake pads can fully disengage. They can go entirely off or on. It also enables Tesla to fine-tune the braking to be as smooth as possible. PLUS, when the car is built with the unboxed process, Tesla doesn't need to run any brake lines, everything is seamless.

I drove Tesla for the first time; I felt happy like a child for the first 10 minutes, and was totally disappointed the rest of the ride The autopilot feature is not available in the EU, but even the lane-control works extremely badly Tesla didn't recognize road works and almost crushed me into a barrier Then it went completely crazy on a temporary orange lane and started wiggling around The assistant consistently missed lanes and ignored speed limit signs, so I had to disable the assistant and drive manually I drove an electric BMW i4 before, and it had a much better cruise control and assistant (it boggles my mind that BMW kicked Tesla's ass in software) With BMW, I never had to touch the gas pedal and drove the car just using cruise control and speed limit assistant You could also set a speed limit, and even if you pressed full gas, it never crossed, which was handy in a city Tesla is still an insane product, the interior and exterior design are amazing, but it feels like an app with an amazing frontend and a very poor backend (at least in the EU) Driving gave me a lot of motivation to make more $$$, and I will still probably get a Tesla, and not a BMW bz BMW is a car for boomers

Did you know how to remove prints from the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack? Just use the scraper that came with your printer to gently lift the print and carefully pry it off. If it's stuck too tight, heat the plate to 50°C on the heatbed to help it come off. The surface is soft, so be careful with the scraper to avoid scratches (they won’t affect performance though). Alright this is starting to become a ridiculous problem. Second time in 24 hours on V14.3.7. This isn’t a native 14.3.7 problem, it has been happening to me (though rarely) since 14.2. I’m ok with nav thinking roads are closed and re-routing. 95% of the time it does this it is wrong, but that’s beside the point. It’s the fact that it does it at the very last minute when it literally already started a turning maneuver. It is so startling and tries to whip it out of a maneuver like it’s avoiding a crash. And the worst part is that the roads it’s trying to avoid are almost never actually closed. Please fix this Tesla AI

Low IQ or Ragebait? The guy is using the color yellow as in terms of "yellow paint" when in fact it only appears when you're using focus mode to highlight clues, footprints and important you can find in this game as you can see in my gameplay here. The setting is not on by default, so the player can still choose not to use the vision. Adding to this the game is open world, where the player can easily get lost, unlike linear games which are much easier to follow a path forward

Woke up to severe rain before 5am this morning. Got a flash flood alert about 6:00. What is falling from the sky right now? It’s more than just water. It’s easy to see with the naked eye but trying to capture it on video is not easy. You might think everything is just a rain drop but these small particles aren’t falling like the rain is, more like floating to the ground. If it was winter I might assume it’s snow but it’s not. On this clip everything that looks like a line is rain. Watch the speed it falls and compare it to the small particles that are traveling much slower. Some of the small bits are flying sideways and up. That’s not rain.
