I think the $ORCL earnings has two truths at the same time. The first truth is that Oracle’s AI demand is real, massive and still accelerating but the second truth is that Oracle’s AI demand is expensive to deliver which meansthe stock now comes down to capex, financing, margins and dilution. The opportunity is massive because with ~$638B of backlog, Oracle now has the largest contracted backlog in tech and Larry Ellison is clearly betting the company’s future on OCI.

$CRWD earnings today are really about whether CrowdStrike is monetizing AI security fast enough to justify a valuation ~100x FCF. The opportunity is clearly expanding with AIDR ARR growing 250% sequentially and pipeline topping $50M but market already understands that story. CrowdStrike has a VERY HIGH bar to clear and now needs to prove the AI security ceiling is rising faster than the multiple investors are already paying for it.

$NVDA CEO Jensen Huang said demand has gone parabolic because agentic AI has arrived, AI can now do productive work and tokens are becoming profitable. If tokens are profitable then model builders have a reason to produce more of them which means more inference, more compute and more demand across networking, memory, CPUs, power and data centers. The near-term stock reaction is about expectations but long-term story is still that the AI factory buildout is running through Nvidia which is why I think it has a real path to becoming the world’s first $10T company.

It’s an application company that has been turbocharged by these models. Who else will be a big beneficiary?”

the IBM earnings reinforced something I think Wall Street is still underestimating: IBM is becoming an operating system for enterprise AI. The initial earnings reaction focused on the familiar metrics—revenue growth, infrastructure, margins and quarterly expectations. But that misses the bigger transformation underway. The AI market is bifurcating. On one side are companies building frontier models. On the other are companies helping enterprises operationalize AI—integrating it with existing systems and data, governing it, securing it, and turning AI into measurable business outcomes. IBM is increasingly positioning itself for that second market. And that's important because the enterprise AI conversation is moving from models to tools, from experimentation to outcomes, and ultimately toward autonomy and agents. IBM has decades of enterprise infrastructure, software, data and consulting relationships sitting underneath that transition. The mainframe isn't necessarily legacy in this world—it can become part of the context and transaction infrastructure AI acts upon. Wall Street initially looked at the quarter. $PLTR this analyst gets it: - Palantir is the AI Operating System - Palantir provides the environment and context layer (ontology + security model) for enterprises to deploy AI models and agents - This is a structural growth opportunity - The ROI for enterprises to deploy AI and use Palantir’s service will become increasingly attractive - (Regarding living up to today’s PE) Revenue growth and margin is unique. “You’ve never seen that type of growth and margin previously for any other companies. Enterprise is a huge market. AI is really shifting from consumer to the enterprise world. Enterprise offers a larger TAM. This is early stage for enterprise to use AI. The TAM could be trillion $$ level…. The path towards that will never be easy, it will be uneven. If you have that long term view, you will still be long term bullish on the company.” - Enterprise opportunities across the world will totally change the business of Palantir in the coming decades I don’t think he’s bullish enough on government based on what we see coming from Gokarp and DV, but at least he acknowledges the importance of the government sector to the company.
