I am a Democrat but I am pro Second Amendment. Not all Democrats hate guns, don't you know? I own two. That being said, I do have a question about your comments on work requirements for Social Security. I did notice that you did not say that you wanted to raise the minimum age. What you said was you wanted work requirements on Social Security. Do you actually know what that means? After retirement people would have to continue to work to receive their Social Security retirement. Do you see the irony in that and the stupidity in that? Do you even know how Social security works? Every paycheck we earn has a Social Security deduction. We worked for that money for 50 years or longer. When someone retires they actually want to retire. They don't want to have to continue to work to earn money that they've actually already earned. Why not just raise the retirement age a few years instead of requiring them to go to work after they retire? Do you really expect a 70 or an 80 year old person to continue to work after they retired so they can get the money that they worked 50 or 60 years earning? How stupid. Let me give you a real life example. My parents are 85 and 83. My mom is 85 and she was literally diagnosed with breast cancer last week. Do you expect her to continue working through that in order to keep her benefits? That's what a work requirement would do. Require her to work in order to keep her benefits. My father is 83 and has the early stages of dementia. His Dr has told him he's not able to drive because of it. Do you expect him to continue to work even though he has the beginning stages of dimensions can't drive? Work requirements would Force him to continue to work. Are you really that stupid?
