My time spent aboard USS Bainbridge this past week reinforced why the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer continues to be the workhorse of our Fleet. Today, we funded two more DDG 51 Flight III class ships. From the Great White Fleet to the Golden Fleet, our Navy has maintained maritime dominance. With today's action, our shipbuilders will soon be at work delivering more of these lethal warfighting platforms. Let's go!
