The speed of light around planets

@CuriosityonX Its the same speed. This is a measure of orbits/

@CuriosityonX Light travels at a constant speed in a vacuum, about 299,792 kilometers per second. When it passes near a planet, its path can bend slightly due to the planet’s gravity (a phenomenon called gravitational lensing), but its speed in local vacuum space remains unchanged.

@CuriosityonX 14.58 seconds to go around the sun, for those that are curious.

@CuriosityonX When you think about it in relative terms (no pun), the speed of light is pretty slow.

@CuriosityonX I’m glad Pluto was included in this. Like the good old days

@CuriosityonX Pluto isn't a planet

@CuriosityonX It's amazing how Speed of Light works... I say we do not understand completely... There is still something missing... what do you say about that?

@CuriosityonX More cartoon shenanigans.🙄

@CuriosityonX Our only constant ✨ need to utilize it more

@CuriosityonX Light really treats planets like they are standing still.

@CuriosityonX The speed of light is instantaneous really. It's only when you start space travel that it becomes helpful. Light travels One billion + kilometres in one light-hour

@CuriosityonX 🧬

If you travel with Speed of Light 🏃‍♂️💨 - Time slows down for you ⏲ - Space shrinks in your direction of travel 🫨 - You would gain absurd energy ⚡ - If you could look outside, the sky would distort 🥴😵 - For light itself, the journey is effectively instant 🫰

@CuriosityonX @grok can you analyze the video and provide an analysis?

@CuriosityonX What is the speed faster than light?

@CuriosityonX light orbits per second: mercury: 19.5 earth: 7.5 neptune: 1.9 jupiter: 0.6

@CuriosityonX Now we are getting somewhere

@CuriosityonX this makes sense to me light travels about 18 inches in 1 billionth of a second

@CuriosityonX This is astonishing

There will come a time when humans will create devices that travel at the speed of light, and this blue sky will rise above the surface of the stars and the watery sky, reaching the seventh heaven. There are paradises, where humans of high IQ live, where there is eternal life and eternal youth. Of course, those devices will be operated by newly created creatures that are faster than the aliens. And also, the new creatures and devices will do all the work for humans at the will of humans, and humans will be completely free and comfortable. (From our oral Afghan Pashtun traditions)

@CuriosityonX That's very fast!
