The US National Security Advisor apparently has a Venmo transfer list with several journalists on it. In the Land of the Free, there is apparently no separation between journalist and government - yet they always want to teach us how to do journalism 🤷🏿‍♂️

The U.S understands one thing: Control the information space if you want to control public perception. Back in the 1980s, a study on Media Monopoly was conducted by Ben Bagdikian and it was discovered that around 50 companies directly linked to the establishment control around 98% of the media in America. Today, it's even worse as only 9 major players control the information space in America. It is the control of information that makes Americans live in a bubble. Majority of Americans don't have independent thoughts. They go where their government go and support what their government support. U.S politicians and journalists have been working hand in hand. The Pentagon is a great friend of Hollywood. Hollywood's core mission is whatever serves the best interest of the establishment. To expect an actual free press or media in an Empire like the U.S is like expecting an Empire built and sustained on blood, slavery, genocide, wars, and a currency backed by the military industry complex to be actually Democratic. The U.S is not a democracy, it pretends to be, but it's not. The Joke has been on us for thinking otherwise....it shows the effectiveness of their media manipulation. By the way, below are the major corporations that control the information/media space. (1)Comcast - Owns NBCUniversal, which includes NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, Telemundo, and Universal Pictures, plus a huge chunk of cable and internet infrastructure. (2) Disney - Controls ABC News, ESPN, Hulu, and a massive entertainment portfolio (Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars) after swallowing 21st Century Fox’s assets. (3) Warner Bros. Discovery - Runs CNN, HBO, TBS, TNT, and Discovery networks, formed from the 2022 merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery Inc. (4) Paramount Global - Owns CBS News, MTV, Nickelodeon, Showtime, and Paramount Pictures, with a big footprint in TV and streaming. (5) Fox Corporation - Operates Fox News, Fox Sports, and the Fox broadcast network, still a Murdoch family powerhouse post-Disney sale. (6) Sony - Focused more on entertainment (Sony Pictures, PlayStation), but its media influence is notable, though less news-driven. (7) Gannett - Owns USA Today and over 100 local papers, the biggest newspaper chain by circulation. (8) News Corp - Rupert Murdoch’s other arm, with The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and book publishing (HarperCollins). (9) Advance Publications - Runs Condé Nast (Vogue, The New Yorker) and dozens of local papers. Then there’s radio, where iHeartMedia owns over 850 stations, dwarfing competitors. And don’t forget tech giants like Alphabet (Google) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram), which don’t "own" media but control how it’s distributed and monetized.

Like the plot to a dystopian movie, New York will now monitor social media writings, collect data, and use law enforcement to crack down on any expression it deems to be hate speech.

A bit of stretch here; Venmo sifts through one’s phone contact list and adds them as friends on the Venmo app. May not change the ultimate conclusion but it’s not like homeboy was adding / paying a bunch of journalists on Venmo

Which just serves to make the same point - that a US National Security Advisor has personal contact details of several journalists on his phone. Why? If Nuhu Ribadu had multiple journalists on his Kuda app (which also scrapes your phone contacts), would you be as magnanimous?
