The way Source does decal projections on meshes is insane. They literally generate a subset overlay of the mesh being impacted on the spot. I want to try and do something like this with Roblox's EditableMesh feature.

anyone know how to do geo nodes stuff? im making bulges on the gut by displacing the cage mesh problem is i cant control the speed of the bulges like id want to this is how im currently controlling it but when i change the value it bulges way too quickly
