Notice the damage on the nearside door? Not only did this Fiat driver overtake without leaving at least 1.5m of space- they also cut across the cyclist to turn left. Reported and offered a driver improvement course.

Very narrow lane with a typically poor surface. The cyclist is riding in primary - the centre of the lane to give more options to avoid potholes and prevent a dangerous overtake. Didn't work. The Dacia driver blasted on through at well over 30mph with around 1 metre space.

Surveillance footage from Bluff Street and 200 South in Saint George, Utah captures a vehicle versus cyclist collision in a parking lot. Watch it carefully before you decide who is at fault. Did the driver check before pulling out? Did the cyclist fail to watch for vehicles exiting parking spaces? Honestly this one is tough to call and the comments section is going to be divided. What is not debatable is the outcome someone got hurt over something that could have been avoided by two seconds of awareness. Contains 🤬. This could have been a catastrophic collision. Why can't drivers just wait for a safe opportunity to overtake, instead of risking their lives and the lives of other road users. Excellent reactions from the driver of the oncoming vehicle, thankfully. Will be reporting
