Massive? Didn’t NC only mobilize about 800 North Carolina National Guard out of 10,000 to Western NC? Why are we relying on Florida to send us over 1K of their National Guard? What’s going on??? Florida has mobilized almost 4,000 of their National Guard in their own state.

People don’t understand how many people in the area live up these inaccessible mountain roads that got washed out or are covered by fallen trees. It takes many hours to reach each of these individuals. They could have left before the hurricane but chose not to. Now many branches of government are doing their best to get to them and rescue them.
