I have that same kettle. However I can honestly say that I have never made lasgna using an iron, nor will I.

I can afford a hotel room but don't have money to eat out but have money to cook? I buy groceries which today aren't cheap. This person must be a ex con because they are used to cooking in their cell/hotel room.
