The team must do everything to feed Gyokeres and put him in positions to release his most deadly weapon. His shooting is a God given gift exclusive to him. It's one of the marvels of modern day football. Use it I think they'll realise now. No one else is a reliable goalscorer for a variety of reasons. No one in this team is scoring more than him this season. They just cant and wont. The dumb haters can firm it. So drop the egos and funnel play through Gyökeres. If you do, he can even cross the 20 goal mark this season in the league

Don't underestimate the role Trossard plays in unlocking Eze left half-space tendencies. Trossard goes deep a lot to handle deep duties, so Eze can stay high. And with Hincapié overlapping for width and Trossard vacating the left half-space, that becomes Eze's area to occupy. Trossard deep in left/central midfield, Eze high in the left half-space to attack. That's how you get the goal vs Leverkusen.

Too much focus on overloaded practices, rondos and positional play inevitably leads to quick play and Group possession focus type outcomes. Also when do you let your players practice moving at full speed with the ball? This is where ball Mastery comes in and 1v1, 2v2 & 3v3 practices. I say the players I work with all the time. You should be able to move as quickly with the ball as you do without it, but unfortunately most Team sessions the ⚽️becomes like a hot potato.

Upper half opens up early, and he ends up guiding the ball to first on the throw because he has no power left by the time he’s releasing the ball.
