This is where ego lifting starts looking more impressive than productive. Moving this much weight with that much momentum can turn a back exercise into a competition with the machine. At some point, the question isn’t how much muscle you’re building, but how much unnecessary stress you’re putting on... show more

This doesn’t like ego lifting to me, his form is quite solid with great momentum too.

That guy never has trouble starting his mower.

Since when can you just workout at the gym with no shirt?

The unmitigated gall of people who will bag on his form, but he's got a way better developed back than any of his detractors. IT'S BECAUSE HE'S BUSTING HIS DAMN ASS... HARD. HATERS! POST YOUR OWN VIDEO OF YOUR BACK DOING PERFECT FORM WITH MORE WEIGHT. We'll wait.

Don't think that guy needs advice from the losers in the comments

These comments are ridiculous. This guy is far stronger and bigger than anyone criticizing him or saying its not that much weight. Bunch of clowns in the comments.

Why isn’t he sitting using two hands?

He is definitely hitting his back with this. He knows what he is doing.

always interesting seeing people pulling 200+ lbs per side on a machine but rarely people doing dumbbell bent over rows with 200+ in each hand

This dude’s back is huge….seems he’s been quite productive…

I don’t understand what people want to see from rows, it’s a back & arm exercise if your engaging both muscle groups your doing it right. F*ck what the internet says.

Just for camera. 🤷♂️

This is a ridiculous post. Man is moving some raw earth with ease. Show some respect,

Stop looking for shit to complain about

What he’s training for?

Take 2 wheels off and isolate the muscle….voila’

There’s just too much back movement. Strict form beats ego-weight every time.

Ego lifting wouldn’t be as bad if ppl were warming up + doing mobility, but ppl that ego lift are probably the biggest culprits of not doing it. Just risking injury with no attempt to prevent it.

On a machine it’s pretty safe. Heavy weight forces muscle to grow

Yeah, the form is a little off, but that EFFORT IS TOP-FUCKING TIER. EFFORT BEATS FORM EVERY SINGLE TIME. (unless your form is so bad that you're not even doing whatever the lift is supposed to be - then you're just accomplishing nothing)

He has great range of motion. He’s not jerking and he’s pausing when extended. And he’s doing 6 with good form. I’d say that his perfect weight he should be doing right now and guarantee he can hit 3-4 with another plate on each side.

It’s crazy that it’s not even that much weight, 😂 .

Not that heavy

Ah

This is a regular gym chain. Why is his shirt off?

Honestly not even that impressive either

Straps on a non rolling handle is laughable.

This is a perfectly done exercise and no "momentum" changes anything.

16 year old kids at my gym do this. It’s not impressive.

There is a certain size I don’t want to go above, every day movement is important to me

Thats why you are on twitter and he is in the gym. His focus isnt squeeze its the stretch, thats how back muscles grow. Understand the anatomy of a muscle

Looks like he knows what he’s doing to me.
