My first, and only, foray into the EV world was a BMW i40 M50 with Hans Zimmer-inspired hot-rod sound effects. The acceleration was unparalleled. However, after a software update, the car simply stopped working for over 5 months. I terminated the lease and now have a new M3 manual trans and upgraded with cat-downpipes, MAD midpipes, Eventuri air intakes, and a stage 2 tune. Now I drive, the ICE sounds are my music, and I've never been happier. A logical assumption is that FSD and EVs are the future, but I'll continue to live in the joyful past—thank you!

Exhaust/noise is entropy. While it might be manly, it isn’t very intelligent. Electric is just more efficient with available energy. This is coming from a rally car fan (huge evo fan). I’m not one to judge which kind of vehicle one picks, the truth is the truth though.
