AI is the first tool in history that can: 1) create new things by itself, 2) make decisions by itself. It cannot be compared to any previous technological revolutions. Inventions like the printing press and even the atom bomb ultimately empowered humans – because humans always decided how to use them. AI will absolutely replace millions of jobs. Pretending otherwise is delusional. But the solution isn’t stopping AI. It’s AI dividends and shared ownership. Our data trained these systems. Our society built the infrastructure. If AI creates trillions in wealth, the public should own a piece of it and receive dividends from that productivity.
