🚨This video is terrifying. And it’s another example of how ICE is making everyone less safe. At Las Vegas International Airport, two people, in plain clothes, are seen trying to handcuff a man. The man is screaming for help. When the person filming asks a TSA agent what is... happening, the agent replies, “It’s law enforcement.” But when the person filming walks over and starts recording the people claiming to be law enforcement, one of them tries to swat the phone away. Then, as more people begin watching, they get up and leave. The man is left with a handcuff still attached to one of his wrists. He is visibly shaken and says they stole his belongings. Think about how dangerous this is. The government is normalizing armed agents, in plain clothes, grabbing people in public, without immediately identifying themselves in a way bystanders can verify. That creates confusion, panic, and makes it impossible for ordinary people to know whether they’re witnessing a lawful arrest, or a kidnapping. In this case, people intervened… They started asking questions, and filming. If no one had stepped in, who knows what would have happened to that man. 🚨BREAKING: ICE agents were filmed, once again, assaulting U.S. citizens outside the Kane County Courthouse, in St. Charles, Illinois. In the video, ICE agents are arresting a man while people film the arrest. A person tries to get information from the man, when an ICE agent suddenly moves toward her and another woman, pushes them back, while pointing an expandable baton at them, in a threatening manner. One woman tells the agent that she has a right to record… which he responds by shoving her. The agent then threatens the person filming, pointing his baton at them, and yells, “don’t follow me.” As if simply observing law enforcement is a crime… especially when there’s a clear physical barrier separating them. The First Amendment protects the right to record law enforcement in public. People filming, and not physically interfering, are exercising protected speech. The Fourth Amendment protects against unreasonable seizures and excessive force. Physical pushing and threatening citizens with a baton, when they are not resisting or obstructing, raises serious questions about whether force is being used lawfully, or as intimidation. Excessive force standards, used by federal law enforcement, requires any force to be objectively reasonable based on an actual threat or interference… not simply the presence of people recording, or criticizing them. So, once again… Filming and observing is not interference. Standing in public is not a threat. And this is not about “respecting authority.” It’s about whether constitutional rights still apply when citizens are watching government agents do their jobs.

As the man is being pinned down, his brother repeatedly yells that he is a veteran, and legally in the United States. An ICE agent then pulls up and begins ordering the brother to “stay out of it.” The brother continues shouting that the man being detained is a veteran, and legal. 🚨Another day, another video of ICE agents demanding a U.S. citizen prove his citizenship… this time, in Philadelphia. In the video, ICE agents box in a man’s car and immediately demand ID, without giving an explanation… Just, “There is a subject we are looking for.” The man responds exactly how anyone who knows their rights would: “What did I do?” And that matters… Because under the Fourth Amendment, law enforcement cannot detain you just to “check.” They need reasonable, articulable suspicion that you committed a crime, or are the specific person they’re looking for. Not just the same race, or, “you look like someone.” When agents surround a vehicle so you can’t leave, that’s a seizure, legally. That triggers constitutional protections. Instead of articulating a reason, the agent shifts the language: “I need to verify your identity.” No, they don’t. They can only demand identification if the stop, itself, is lawful. And the stop is only lawful if they can clearly explain why they believe you are the subject they’re looking for. Notice what they never say in the video: -They never describe the suspect. -They never state a crime. -They never explain how he matches the person they are “looking for.” Just, “we’re looking for someone.” That is not enough. Then, the agent tries to grab the man’s ID without consent. The man pulls it back and says, “Don’t touch my ID.” He’s right. Officers don’t get to physically seize your property without legal authority. The agent then looks at the ID from a distance and walks away. Which tells us something important… If they truly had probable cause, this would not have ended with a casual glance and retreat. ICE does not have authority to randomly stop citizens to “verify” they’re not someone else. That is exactly the kind of policing the Constitution was written to prevent. If agents can box in your car, demand your identity without stating a crime, and fish for compliance… then everyone’s rights are conditional. And conditional rights aren’t rights at all.

🚨ICE agents are threatening to assault and illegally arrest U.S. citizens in Portland, Maine. In the video, a man is legally observing ICE activity in his own neighborhood. Agents walk up to his car window and ask, “Are you following us?” The man replies, “Yeah.” An agent immediately escalates and says, “What you are doing is called impeding federal law enforcement. It’s an 18 U.S.C. §111 charge. This is your first and only warning. If you continue to impede and follow us, you will be arrested.” The man then correctly responds, “Yeah, but I’m not impeding you.” Another agent jumps in and says,“You just openly admitted you were following us, so…” And again, the man correctly explains, “I am following you. I’m not impeding you. I’m observing you.” Which is a constitutionally protected right. The agent responds anyway, “It is impeding.” The man replies, “No, it’s actually not.” At that point, the agents become visibly angry that he knows the law and threaten him again, saying, “This is your one warning. If you keep doing it, we will pull you back out and arrest you.” Just to be very clear… Following and observing law enforcement, without interference, is not a crime. Threatening arrest anyway is an abuse of power. Threatening to “pull him out” of his vehicle is a threat of unlawful force. These agents are not enforcing the law, they’re misstating it, weaponizing it, and hoping intimidation will do the rest. They don’t understand the laws they claim to enforce. 🚨BREAKING: In Chicago, ICE agents were filmed hitting the car of a U.S. citizen, assaulting a bystander who was filming, pointing a taser at innocent people, and driving away before local police could even verify their identities. And we’re supposed to believe they’re making our communities safer. The video shows ICE agents chasing a man through Albany Park. Two agents grab him and rip his shirt off during the chase, while one of the agents drops a fully loaded magazine… and leaves it there. The man manages to get away and runs across a street, where cars are stopped at a red light. An ICE agent then drive a black SUV into a U.S. citizen’s vehicle in an attempt to cut off the man running. The man is eventually surrounded by agents, when one agent suddenly grabs the man and aggressively throws him to the ground, as multiple agents immediately pile on top of him as he screams for help. As this is happening, residents begin recording what they are witnessing. That’s when another agent enters the scene with his taser already drawn. Despite another agent already standing next to a person filming, he walks directly toward the bystander, shoves them backward, and screams, “Back the fuck up.” The person filming isn’t attacking anyone… or interfering with the arrest. In fact, you can see them nodding and saying “okay.” Yet, the agent continues advancing toward them with a taser. Which all raises some serious first and fourth amendment concerns. And let’s talk about the woman whose car was hit… Her vehicle gets run into, during a federal operation… and then they threatened to arrest HER. And afterward, local police told her they were not given proof of the agents’ identity at the scene. One officer reportedly said, “[The agents] didn’t want to show us proof of that,” when speaking to the woman whose car was hit. AND THEN, according to reporting from the scene, one of the ICE agents had a Jerusalem cross sticker on the back of his phone. The Jerusalem cross is a Christian symbol dating back to the Crusades that has more recently gained popularity among some far-right and white supremacist groups. Maybe that’s something DHS would like to explain. So, if federal agents can crash into civilian vehicles, leave loaded ammunition in public streets, point tasers at bystanders, and aggressively confront, and assault, people exercising their constitutional rights… Then the people holding the cameras aren’t the problem. The cameras are documenting the problem.

In the video, ICE agents boxed in a car, at a McDonald’s parking lot, and demanded to see an ID. One person holds up his ID, saying, “Can you see that? United States of America.” The agent responds, “Yeah, I see plenty of fake ones, too.” The man says, “My sh*t ain’t fake.” The agent responds, “I gotta make sure… I’m not going to just take your word for it,” while inspecting the ID. Here’s the thing… this is illegal. You are a U.S. citizen, doing nothing wrong. ICE has no right to seize your ID, or demand proof of citizenship, under these circumstances. Holding a government-issued ID is more than enough, and the agent knows it… but he acts like it isn’t. Then, the agent walks away and passes another agent, who asks, “Did you run it?” You can’t hear what the agent responds… probably something along the lines of, they know their rights so I couldn’t… Since the first agent didn’t run the ID because he doesn’t have the right to…he is a citizen who hasn’t committed a crime… This is why the second agent starts asking more questions, trying to dig for anything they can intimidate people with. They ask whose car it is, how long they’ve had it, if they bought it from someone… Every time, the people refuse to answer.
