One of the most dangerous jobs in the world. This transition is actually one of the more safe. The usual way is from a chopping Pilot boat amidst the natural flow of the water and any wash created by tugs operating on the same ship.

Ffs, too good.....I thought they were going to catapult up onto the deck.....or a hook hanging off the side would catch him. He literally just stepped aboard.
