"It [Iran conflict] worries me, of course, because it would be foolish to believe that events far beyond our borders do not affect us. That is why Italy worked so hard to reach a serious agreement on Iran's nuclear program, particularly at a time when international law is faltering, and we cannot allow the current Iranian regime to have long-range missiles with nuclear warheads. The goal is to prevent the crisis from spreading, but I believe that nothing can improve unless Iran stops its attacks on the Gulf countries, which are completely unjustified," she said in an interview with TG5 programme.

Giving Mark Zuckerberg a three day ultimatum to apologise over the removal of the Prime Minister’s video, and threatening to withdraw Meta’s legal protections if he doesn’t, is an astonishing abuse of power. This is what happens when a government becomes so fragile that even an unintended slight is treated as an attack on the nation. The message is clear: question, criticise, or even make an honest mistake involving one man, and there will be consequences.
