It is gross irresponsibility and a failure of professionalism. There must be accountability. Officers should not be allowed to hide behind the authority of their uniforms when their conduct puts lives at risk. Every reckless enforcement action should be investigated, and where an officer is found to have acted improperly, there should be consequences. Road safety must mean safety for everyone.
