Time to return power from the State to individuals. Rather than ineffective gov’t programs, lets create an investment acct for each child at birth. Financial literacy, graduation rates & small biz starts all improve! And as Joe Lonsdale says - “the marxists will hate this.” 🇺🇸

@JTLonsdale This has to be one of the best ideas of our lifetime. I'm about to retire and it won't benefit me but it would help to show Americans what America is about. Individuals create businesses, employ people who invest in themselves, and teach the next generation.

@JTLonsdale Each of my kids is getting #bitcoin for Christmas. I want them to follow, learn and gain a passion for saving and investing.

@JTLonsdale Financial literacy (and participating in markets) is one of the most important character building lessons for young people. More of this!

@JTLonsdale is there legislation drafted yet? It would be cool to track progress, including which legislators are supporting.

@JTLonsdale Love this and hoping the opportunity to start a new business will be available to the next generation. Currently it feels like private equity is sucking up everything in its path and wealth consolidated at the top. How to fix Capitalism?

@JTLonsdale Эпоха марксистов и капиталистов заканчивается. Сэр, Вы пропустили "условленное время"...

@JTLonsdale Does the account belong to the child or the parent? When can they access the funds and for what reasons?

@JTLonsdale @altcap I think this could be great. Capitalism is for everyone. Couldn’t find much info on the site, I’m interested on of how/when a beneficiary can spend. It needs incentive alignment & education, ok if not everyone spends wisely, bad if a few orgs figure out how to prey on it

@JTLonsdale Agreed. There is a model that will work: 1) Modernized/update the overlooked 'Impact Incentive', QSBS Section 1244 -

@JTLonsdale 2/ Establish a National Sovereign Wealth Venture Fund of Funds and arbitrage the Govt's cost of capital with even modest venture returns.
