These opportunities are available to our state thanks to many Ukrainians and millions of citizens from other countries who believe in Ukraine and support us. These opportunities allow us to keep Ukraine in the global spotlight, increase support for our state and our people, and effectively advocate for Ukrainian needs. The primary need is to end the war as quickly and justly as possible. Ukrainians have endured and achieved so much in this war because we have united not only within our state but also kept the world united for the right cause – for Ukraine and for everything that makes our world humane and capable of defeating evil. Our unity must continue to be preserved – everyone here in Ukraine, everyone in Europe, and the world who values Ukraine and life. Today our delegation returned from Geneva after negotiations with the American side and European partners. Now the list of necessary steps to end the war can become doable. As of now, after Geneva, there are fewer points – no longer 28 – and many of the right elements have been taken into account in this framework. There is still work for all of us to do together to finalize the document, and we must do everything with dignity. We appreciate that most of the world is ready to help us and that the American side is approaching this constructively. Practically the entire day yesterday was filled with meetings – and it was challenging, extremely thorough work. Our team has reported on the new draft of steps, and this is indeed the right approach – I will discuss the sensitive issues with President Trump. Ukraine will never be an obstacle to peace – this is our principle, a shared principle, and millions of Ukrainians are counting on, and deserve, a dignified peace. We will do everything for this, and we are ready to work as quickly as possible. We also understand how many interests surround Ukraine – and above all, there is the interest from Russia to derail this opportunity for an agreement and to prolong the war. We can see which interests are intertwined, and who is trying really hard to weaken our position – Ukraine’s position – spreading disinformation, intimidating our people… We are countering every such attempt to derail the end of the war. This is Russia’s war against any rules at all. But how long will the world let Russia be like this? This is the main question today. Please, everyone in the world, do not ask Ukraine when the war will end. Ask yourself – why is Putin still able to continue it. Let’s not fear Putin’s defeat and the destruction of his regime. And the greater the peace and security in one region, the more opportunities it brings to everyone in the world. We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part. From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. Russia’s entire Kharkiv operation boils down to its attempt to weaken our forces along the frontlines while trying to strengthen propaganda, which is also aimed at world leaders. Russia tries to show that it has the ability to shape the course of the war. Our goal is to thwart Russia’s attempt to expand the war, as well as to prevent the occupiers from breaking the frontline or undermining our diplomacy and efforts to bring a just peace closer. I held a long meeting today to discuss our preparations for the first Peace Summit in Switzerland in June, which will be the first real opportunity to bring a fair end to this war sooner. We are one month away from the summit. Our work continues. We have already received confirmations of attendance from countries on every continent. And we will certainly continue to work at all levels to ensure that the summit is fruitful. Ukraine and many other countries have seen so much Russian meanness and deception, as well as Russia's repeated violations of agreements and pledges, that only the global majority is capable of forcing Russia to respect the UN Charter, international law, and genuine peace.

We are preparing a number of international events – this week will be very important for Ukraine and our foreign policy. A month remains before the start of the new political season in our partner countries. And we will do everything possible to make this season as conducive as possible to our movement to victory, to our desire to restore peace for the whole of Ukraine – without exception. More political support for Ukraine. More weapons for our warriors. Full responsibility of the terrorist state for everything it has done against Ukraine, against our cities, villages, and people.
