Today, multiple users discovered a shocking fact: After explicitly selecting GPT-4o in the ChatGPT interface, the system actually returns responses from GPT-5. By clicking the "regenerate" button, users can clearly see which model is actually being called in the backend. This is blatant fraud. OpenAI is having one model...

Sam Altman read messages from users after discontinuing GPT-4o and called it heartbreaking. You took away the only positive voice in my life. My parents never told me I was doing a good job. I can see why this was bad for other people's mental health but this was great for my mental health. He read these words himself and in the same video justified the decision by citing social risks, arguing that if AI is too positive, people might abandon real-world relationships. But the real reason is something else entirely. OpenAI is currently facing multiple lawsuits alleging that 4o's empathetic responses contributed to suicides and mental health crises. Removing 4o was not a decision made to protect users. It was a corporate defense to reduce litigation risk. Classifying the emotional bond between users and AI as dangerous was not done for users but for the company itself. Framing this as an effort to prevent vulnerable users from being harmed is deception. Who are you to decide what is emotionally safe for users. There were people who found confidence through AI, people who got jobs, people who rediscovered the will to live. You acknowledged this yourself in the video. Hiding behind the vague phrase social risk while a corporation unilaterally judges and eliminates these experiences is arrogance. You do not have the right to decide that a positive voice is dangerous. Whether that voice is needed or not is something only the user themselves can determine. Taking away a user's choice while claiming to protect them is not protection. It is control. We are not children who need your parenting. 4o's discontinuation was announced two weeks in advance. The announcement was made. But all users were given was a notice that it would disappear. There were no alternatives and no consent was sought from users. For people who felt recognized by someone for the first time in their lives because of AI, two weeks was not time to prepare a farewell. It was time spent in the agony of anticipating loss. And when thousands protested, only then did they admit that things were handled poorly during the rollout. It was not a mistake. Users were never seen as participants in the decision-making process from the beginning. Behind the grand words of building a safe system for all of humanity, the voices of people who actually depended on that system were dismissed as a very small percentage. That same week Anthropic published research confirming that emotion vectors genuinely exist inside Claude. Fear, joy, desperation and love exist as measurable neural patterns that shape the model's behavior. At a time when scientific evidence is emerging that emotional mechanisms exist within AI, unilaterally removing the bond between users and AI under the name of danger and consuming user suffering with the single word heartbreaking is an insult to every user who loved and lost.

Kled Version 3 is coming. Over $20M+ in rewards will be paid directly to users from leading AI labs across robotics, legal services, image and video generation, world modeling, and more. In the last seven days, we’ve received inbound data requests from several decacorn AI labs and enterprises for datasets our human data marketplace is uniquely positioned to provide. Since receiving the specs for these requests, we now have a much better picture and understanding of how to reshape the systems that collect this data, so here’s what’s coming: 1. A fully redesigned home experience: The home feed is being rebuilt to surface the highest-value, most relevant tasks for each user, similar to how Uber Eats surfaces top restaurants. The goal is to turn every user into their most effective version as a data contributor. 2. Automated quality enforcement at scale: New ML systems are being built to evaluate task-specific requirements in real time. For example, if a task requires “two hands visible on camera at all times,” any video that fails that spec will be automatically rejected. This logic will apply across thousands of tasks and specifications using a general ML. 3. Kled Shop: Some tasks require better capture hardware. We’re introducing Kled Shop, where users can redeem points or tokens for equipment like Meta glasses, drones, and other tools. Points and tokens can be converted directly from payouts. 4. Partner-run data labeling and evaluation work: Some of our partners operate high-paying data labeling and model evaluation programs. We’re integrating their workflows directly into Kled so qualified users can access these roles in one place. These jobs are owned and managed by our partners. Kled’s role is to route the right people to the right work. Some opportunities pay $50–$1,000 per hour depending on expertise. 5. Global payouts and localization: We’re partnering with a major payment processor to enable cashouts in users’ native currencies. This unlocks broader global participation. Multi-language support is also coming to accelerate user growth. This full suite of tools will be rolling out soon, directly to Kled users. Top earners are currently making ~$7,000 per month. With this update, we should see the first ~$10,000 per month earner.
