Today we're rolling out Projects in Claude Code on desktop and web. A project is one conversation with Claude. It splits the work into threads itself, runs them as parallel cloud sessions, passes context between them, and keeps going when you leave. In beta for select users.

Finally, this is the most useful thing they’ve added in months. I can actually group all my Claude code projects in one place. This is basically just Grok Bot mixed with Claude code. I love this.

"keeps going when you leave" is the exact pitch devin shipped in 2024. the demo was never the problem but the trust in unattended output was.

Great to see this being added so quickly but at one time it was Claude leading the way with these types of features but now seems to be following! Either way , great for consumers!

Why for beta users? There's no time to make it available to beta users. If you want to get new customers, you cannot be so far behind Codex. Guys, this feature has been available in the Codex app since it was released. What's going on? You will not get new customers this way.

Finally, there is a way to transfer chat, projects etc to claude code projects?
