Kimi K3 built a fully procedural browser-based 3D exploration game using Three.js WebGPU and GPU compute. It procedurally generated the environment, while using a 3D asset generation tool to create the rider and horse models, producing an expansive open world with forests, a log-cabin village, snowy mountains, and dynamic weather. External assets used: animated cowboy and horse models and terrain data.

I always wondered "What if I port my three.js game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!

This is three.js running on the Exosphere. 🤯 Rendering in realtime from a browser at 8K / 60fps. Here’s how Shopify just pulled it off 👇

Creating a multiplayer game on v0 using Three.js and Liveblocks Models/textures/tracks/environments/physics, everything is being created by v0. The key part was asking v0 to create automation scripts to export logs/screenshots so it can iterate on its own.

Wait, is Claude Opus 4.8 actually a Fable 5?? Opus generated this. A 3D botanical DNA strand. No, it's not a video or a 3D asset. It's pure math using Three.js, running at 60fps ❤️‍🔥 Everything including petals and flowers is generated using custom geometry. Also responsive. That too done from a image reference. Fable or not, Claude is generally good at 3D stuff.

Claude vs Gemini vs DeepSeek vs Grok PROMPT: Build a production-ready 3D flight visualizer in one HTML file. Use Three.js to render a rotatable Earth and simulate real-time aircraft positions using smooth interpolation. Include polished lighting, a starfield background, and make it responsive for mobile and desktop. Which tool is the best?
