Many people will scroll past this post but let me say it clearly. The country that can build weapons at this level may be the first to reach ASI. A humanoid robotic arm with advanced perception precision control rapid targeting and autonomous coordination combines AI robotics vision systems force control and real time decision making in one physical platform. The race toward Artificial Superintelligence may be led by defense programs building machines that can see decide act and eventually help design better versions of themselves. When a country can produce robotic systems capable of improving the machines doing the fighting ASI stops being a software theory #HumanoidRobots #MilitaryAI #ASI

A question I often ask ballplayers: What is the most important time during a game? Answers I often get are the beginning of the game, the last few innings of the game, or any big moment in the game. All good answers, but all wrong answers. THE MOST important time of the game is the time in between pitches. Ballplayers should be looking to win this time by being in complete control of their breath, self-talk, and focus. As the great Ken Ravizza would often say, “You have to control yourself so that you can control your performance.” Well, when you control and WIN the time in between pitches, you drastically increase your odds for success, especially if your competition isn’t doing that. So, the next time you step on the field, be on purpose with what you do in between pitches. Your results will no longer happen by accident…they will happen by intention. *The same applies to the time in between shots, plays, etc., based on whatever sport you play.

This installation enables a live plant to control a machete. Plant machete has a control system that reads and utilizes the electrical noises found in a live philodendron. The system uses an open-source microcontroller connected to the plant to read varying resistance signals across the plant’s leaves. Using custom software, these signals are mapped in real-time to the movements of the joints of the industrial robot holding a machete. In this way, the movements of the machete are determined based on input from the plant.
