Onboarding was extra fun to design and build for this one 🕺 It's a moment of delight but it's also functional. It gives Pica a couple valuable seconds to index all of your fonts* so when you click through everything is sorted, loaded, and instantly available. This is an example of how 'design and engineering are really the same.' *unless you're one of those sickos with like 10k+ fonts. Then unfortunately you'll sit with a spinner for a few more seconds 😅

New work: by Little Plains with Jacob Jolibois 🇺🇸 & Akash Shah I got to work with Akash, the co-founder, over half a decade ago from start through exit with Care/of. Now we’re back together on a fast-growing, genuinely valuable business. Supplement formulas often still made with a lot of manual work and guessing. Ingredient AI allows formulators to get clear, cited answers back in minutes instead of months. We partnered with the team to expand the existing brand into a full digital system and online experience. We leaned into macro botanicals as living backdrops using FLORA ©, introduced a frosty interface with precise edging, rebuilt the typography system, and created a warm palette that keeps the data in the spotlight. We also created custom generative imagery and video from a botanical source library we made, created pixel-grid icons, and rewrote the copy line by line, based on real sales calls. We have to ask ourselves if this is how we want to live as a society—if we want 3,400 people to be prioritized over well more than 300 million. And when we question the legitimacy of that power structure, the people at the top are going to be very mad. And the little hobby newspapers that they’ve bought—which they love to say are making the quality of everything better. Jeff Bezos purchased the The Washington Post. He laid off some of the highly qualified journalists that made it an American institution so that he could turn it into a mouthpiece that launders his personal agenda and opinions. And he is using it because, for a lot of folks, it’s not enough to be powerful—they have to be loved. And he then uses this mouthpiece to take aim at politicians who want to question the deeply unequal and unjust distribution of power in America. They want to continue to undercut, threaten, and punish those who say: democracy belongs at the ballot box—economic power, political power—and that power should belong to the people of this country, not the very few.

The mobilization of Ukrainian children into the Russian army is human trafficking. This was stated by the Save Ukraine team at a meeting at the OSCE headquarters in Vienna. Russia commits a double crime against our children under international law: they are abducted and then used for military purposes. We have rescued 615 Ukrainian children who were abducted by the Russian authorities from the occupied territories and moved deep into Russia. The testimonies of these children confirm three components of child trafficking. First, it is the forced transfer of underage Ukrainians to the Russian Federation, primarily boys from the occupied territories. Secondly, the systematic actions of the Russian authorities - indoctrination and mobilization into the Russian army. Third, the goal is to exploit Ukrainian children as manpower in the war against Ukraine. Save Ukraine's approach to classifying these crimes allows law enforcement agencies and international courts to more fully assess the scale of crimes against our children and give them a proper assessment. That is why our work to rescue children from the occupied territories is extremely important. And we need everyone's support!

From the LingaBhairavi darshan and the Dharmalinga meditation to a dip in the Suryakund, to the giant size majestic statue of Adiyogi, the Ashram, is all an ocean of rejuvenation. But the more interesting stuff is what is often not written about ..Isha’s Gurukul mode educational pursuits : their unique 10+3 curriculum at Isha Home School, the Isha Samskriti , the Save the Soil program and a lot more . Thank you @gargivach for facilitating this visit . I urge all Dharmic and civilisational warriors to take time out and spend a day at Isha Foundation . ● I’ve attended today a simulated special operation exercise conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Unit, involving a raid to free hostages and arrest terrorist elements. The exercise demonstrated a high level of readiness, efficiency, and discipline, and confirmed the professionalism this elite force has achieved through advanced training and qualification programs. These programs were conducted with direct support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to whom we extend our sincere thanks and deep appreciation for their ongoing and genuine support in building the capabilities of Yemeni state institutions, particularly the security and military apparatus. ● Counterterrorism efforts must be managed exclusively through legitimate state institutions, within a clear legal and institutional framework that guarantees the rule of law, protects citizens' rights, and prevents a descent into chaos and the proliferation of power centers. Experience has proven that any security efforts carried out outside the authority of the state only complicate the situation, expand the scope of violations, and undermine opportunities for stability. The security lapses we have witnessed in some areas are a direct result of bypassing state institutions and operating outside their legitimate framework. ● The state affirms its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms through an effective partnership and close coordination with the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in cooperation with the international community. This commitment ensures respect for international humanitarian law, the protection of civilians, and the enhancement of security and stability at both the national and regional levels. ● The state is also committed to its national, regional, and international responsibilities in protecting international waterways and shipping lanes, which are vital arteries for global trade and regional security. This commitment is demonstrated through continuous cooperation with the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy and international partners, contributing to the preservation of maritime security, the protection of shared interests, and the deterrence of any threats to freedom of navigation and its security. ● Within the same context, the state will resolutely continue its joint efforts with the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy to combat arms smuggling to the Houthi terrorist militia and to cut off its sources of weapons. And its funding, given the direct threat this poses to national, regional, and international security, prolongs the conflict, and undermines peace prospects. ● The core of the Yemeni crisis remains the coup by the terrorist Houthi militia against the state and its legitimate institutions, and the resulting systematic destruction of the political, security, economic, and humanitarian situation. Therefore, restoring the state and ending the coup is a national priority that cannot be postponed.
