🔎 UPDATE #5 - MISSING CHILD - PARKER 🔍 We continue to ask for the public's help in locating Parker, 11 & are providing an update on the extensive search & investigative efforts underway to find him. Today, search efforts are also being supported by members of the RCMP, who have joined CPS search teams in the ongoing effort to locate Parker. We are grateful for their continued assistance & partnership. 📍 As the investigation progresses, search efforts are becoming increasingly focused on areas connected to Parker's last known movements & reported sightings. Officers are conducting targeted searches, reviewing video evidence & canvassing communities while identifying & following up on new investigative leads. We continue to track down information received through our non-emergency line, social media, community reports & other public channels as part of an ongoing effort to identify any information that could assist in locating Parker. Investigators are also using information provided by Parker's family about his interests & behaviours to help guide search efforts. As part of those efforts, officers have been playing some of Parker's favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles & other search resources in areas where search operations are taking place. Since he was reported missing, the CPS has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. More than 300 CPS members have assisted in the search effort & officers have conducted door-to-door inquiries in surrounding communities & continue to canvass the area. Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approx. 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera & dashcam footage. Approx. 90 tips have been received and assessed by investigators. Today, approx. 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search & Rescue Alberta are continuing to assist with search operations. Following the projectile impact earlier this morning in the Central District, police officers continue to manage the scene alongside emergency and rescue teams. As part of the situational assessment held by District Commander Commissioner Yair Hezroni, representatives from the various agencies briefed him on the results of search and rescue operations. So far, approximately 30 individuals have been evacuated and treated. Infrastructure assessments and damage response are underway, with the goal of restoring routine as quickly as possible for the safety and wellbeing of the public. Residents are urged to remain in protected areas, avoid approaching the impact zones, and not to touch or come near any debris, which may contain explosive materials.

Press Conference For Missing 14 Year Old In Statesville: Sheriff Campbell, alongside the FBI, provided an update today regarding the disappearance of 14-year-old Gideon Ferguson, who was safely located earlier today. Gideon was found after he walked back into the search area and sat in the yard of a nearby residence. The homeowner noticed him and immediately dialed 911. Deputies responded and quickly confirmed the juvenile was the missing 14-year-old who had been reported missing for the past three days. Sheriff Campbell stated that the area where Gideon was located had been heavily searched during the investigation. He emphasized that the family who found the boy is in no way involved in his disappearance.
