๐Ÿ”Ž UPDATE #5 - MISSING CHILD - PARKER ๐Ÿ” We continue to ask for the public's help in locating Parker, 11 & are providing an update on the extensive search & investigative efforts underway to find him. Today, search efforts are also being supported by members of the RCMP, who have joined CPS search teams in the ongoing effort to locate Parker. We are grateful for their continued assistance & partnership. ๐Ÿ“ As the investigation progresses, search efforts are becoming increasingly focused on areas connected to Parker's last known movements & reported sightings. Officers are conducting targeted searches, reviewing video evidence & canvassing communities while identifying & following up on new investigative leads. We continue to track down information received through our non-emergency line, social media, community reports & other public channels as part of an ongoing effort to identify any information that could assist in locating Parker. Investigators are also using information provided by Parker's family about his interests & behaviours to help guide search efforts. As part of those efforts, officers have been playing some of Parker's favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles & other search resources in areas where search operations are taking place. Since he was reported missing, the CPS has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. More than 300 CPS members have assisted in the search effort & officers have conducted door-to-door inquiries in surrounding communities & continue to canvass the area. Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approx. 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera & dashcam footage. Approx. 90 tips have been received and assessed by investigators. Today, approx. 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search & Rescue Alberta are continuing to assist with search operations. Members of the public may continue to see a significant police & search presence in these communities, including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit, patrol officers, investigators & trained search volunteers. โ€ผ๏ธ We want to stress that police & trained search teams are actively conducting coordinated search operations based on investigative information & search-management principles. Given the heat and the inherent risks associated with searching, there is a significant possibility that large groups of well-intentioned volunteers without search-&-rescue training may require assistance themselves. Any situation requiring police, EMS or search personnel to respond to volunteer safety concerns would divert critical resources away from the ongoing effort to locate Parker. We respectfully ask that if Calgarians do choose to search, they do not interrupt or interfere with police operations, trained search teams or organized search efforts already underway. We also ask that community-led search activities avoid areas where official searches are taking place & do not create situations that require police or search personnel to redirect resources from ongoing operations. Remain mindful of the heat, ongoing operations, not enter private property without permission & report any information or sightings to police immediately. ๐Ÿš— Additionally, there is limited parking available in the area. We ask community members not to park near active search operations & to ensure access routes remain clear for police, emergency vehicles & search teams. ๐Ÿ“ฃ Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or by submitting it here: Information? โ˜Ž๏ธ CPS: 403-266-1234 ๐Ÿ›‘ Calgary Crime Stoppers ๐Ÿ“ž Missing Children Society of Canada: 1-800-661-6160 ๐Ÿ“ฒ MCSC rescu: โš– Case #: CA26318270 | 3916 ๐ŸŒ

How do search teams cover large areas while ensuring no stone is left unturned? In this video, one of our officers explains the various search methods we and our partners are using in the search for Parker. These efforts are supported by specialized and traditional techniques and teams that include coordinated ground searches, RPAS (drone) operations and dedicated canine teams. These resources help search areas that may be difficult to access on foot and provide additional perspectives as teams continue to search for Parker. The terrain and current heat conditions have made this work particularly challenging. In some areas, searchers are positioned closely together to ensure no potential clue, evidence or point of interest is overlooked. Every search operation is carefully planned using investigative information, search management principles and lost person behaviour research. Together, officers, partner agencies and trained search volunteers continue working tirelessly toward one goal: finding Parker. We remain grateful for the unwavering commitment of everyone involved in this search and for the continued support of our community. If you have information that may assist investigators, no matter how small it may seem, please report it to police. As the search for Parker continues, we want to provide insight into how search teams are using technology, expertise and investigative information to guide ongoing search efforts. In this video, Staff Sgt. Becky Spohr, Incident Commander for the search, explains how specialized mapping and search-management tools are helping teams document search activity, track coverage, analyze information and identify areas that may require further attention. ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ To date, search teams have covered more than 6,500 kilometres as part of the effort to locate Parker. While technology plays an important role, it is only one part of the process. Every search operation is guided by investigative information, specialized search planning, and the collective expertise of investigators, search managers, partner agencies and trained volunteers. We know many people have questions about the search and the work taking place behind the scenes. While we cannot share every tactic being used or location being searched, we hope this video provides some perspective on the deliberate and systematic approach being taken to bring Parker home. We would also like to thank the hundreds of CPS members, partner agencies, trained search-and-rescue volunteers and community members who continue to support this effort. The search for Parker is a complex and ongoing investigative effort working alongside search operations. โ„น๏ธ In this video, Inspector Lee Wayne of the Missing Persons Team discusses the ongoing investigative efforts since Parker was reported missing last Thursday, July 16, 2026. We have followed up exhaustively on tips, witness reports and video leads. We have examined all possibilities, including criminality. While we cannot share details that could compromise the investigation, we have no tangible evidence at this time to suggest Parker was abducted or that a criminal offence has occurred. While our officers and partners continue searching areas of interest, investigators have been conducting extensive door-to-door canvassing efforts throughout the community, speaking with residents and businesses, and collecting surveillance footage that may help establish Parker's movements. To do this, video analytics technology is used to process thousands of hours of CCTV, residential security camera and dashcam footage in a fraction of the time it would take to review manually. This allows investigators to quickly identify potential sightings and focus resources where they may be most effective. The investigation is also being informed by information from the public. To date, more than 500 tips have been received and assessed. Dedicated civilian analysts and support staff are helping investigators compile and analyze this information, creating a comprehensive picture that helps guide ongoing search and investigative efforts. We want to thank Calgarians for their incredible continued support. As we continue the search for Parker, we encourage anyone with relevant information based on what they personally saw, heard, recorded or observed to continue coming forward. ๐Ÿ“ฃ Anyone with information, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or by submitting it here: Information? โ˜Ž๏ธ CPS: 403-266-1234 ๐Ÿ›‘ Crime Stoppers YYC ๐Ÿ“ž Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC): 1-800-661-6160 | ๐Ÿ“ฒ MCSC rescu: โš– Case #: CA26318270 | 3955

We continue to ask the public for help a week into our search for Parker. Despite an exhaustive search & ongoing investigative efforts, we continue to be unable to identify Parkerโ€™s whereabouts after he was last seen on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m. Given Parkerโ€™s history of entering structures & locking doors behind him, we are asking anyone aware of vacant properties or homeowners who are away in the following areas to contact police: ๐Ÿ”นTravis Street N.E. ๐Ÿ”นTravis Crescent N.E. ๐Ÿ”นTrelle Drive N.E. ๐Ÿ”นTaylor Crescent N.E. ๐Ÿ”นTravis Place N.E. ๐Ÿ”นThomas Street N.E. We also continue to ask residents to check their properties, as well as realtors and property managers to ensure vacant properties have been searched. The support from the community has been extraordinary. At the same time, we recognize the emotional toll has grown with each day. Today, Wednesday July 22, 2026, from noon to 6 p.m., our Victim Assistance Support Team (VAST) is at the Thorncliffe Community Hall to provide support to residents: We also recognize that this search has affected Calgarians across the city. If you need support, please call 211 or contact the Calgary Distress Centre. Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts & black noise-cancelling headphones. He is 4'11", approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head & brown eyes. Parker is neurodivergent & non-verbal and may become even more scared if confronted by strangers. If Parker is located, members of the public are asked not to approach him. Instead, call 911 immediately. We continue to ask anyone in Thorncliffe who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from Thursday, July 16, 2026, to now, regardless of whether Parker is seen, to submit the footage through the upload link here: Information? โ˜Ž๏ธ CPS: 403-266-1234 ๐Ÿ›‘ Crime Stoppers YYC ๐Ÿ“ž Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC): 1-800-661-6160 | ๐Ÿ“ฒ MCSC rescu: โš– Case #: CA26318270 | 3955

The body of a child has been located during todayโ€™s search for Parker. If the body is Parkerโ€™s, it is believed he entered a culvert in a green space on the west side of Deerfoot Trail and travelled up a pipe and into a network of tunnels on the east side of the roadway. ๐Ÿ“ On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, we received a tip from a member of the public who had located a shoe, believed to have belonged to Parker. Search teams recovered the other shoe at the edge of a culvert. It is believed the shoes had been washed down the pipe some time after the initial search. As a result, the pipe system was searched by specialized teams from the Calgary Fire Department and a childโ€™s body was located. This green space area contains incredibly harsh terrain and is part of a water environment. As with any search involving water, environmental conditions can influence what can be observed and when evidence may become visible. During the past two weeks, we had conducted searches of the area for Parker, however, there was no evidence located that would suggest a more thorough search of the area was required. This is not the outcome anyone hoped for. Like so many others, we hoped Parker would be brought home safely. Our thoughts are with Parker's family, loved ones and all those affected by this devastating loss. We know people across the world have spent the past 13 days sharing Parker's information, searching for him and holding onto hope for his safe return. We extend our sincere gratitude to the thousands of community members, volunteers, partner agencies and members of the media who assisted in the search effort. The compassion, dedication and support shown throughout this investigation have been extraordinary. โ„น๏ธ At this time, there is no evidence that criminality was involved in Parker's disappearance. Search operations are complex and are influenced by factors including terrain, vegetation, weather conditions, visibility and the information available to investigators at the time. While search teams worked extensively and thoroughly throughout this investigation, it is not always possible to completely eliminate every possibility within a broad-scale search area. Parker's family is asking for privacy as they grieve the loss of their son.
