If the ingredients list 'fortified' or 'enriched' flour--you are consuming synthetic folic acid. Remove all 'fortified' & 'enriched' grains & drinks listing folic acid. Animal sourced foods are the best way to get bioavailable methyl folate because animal based foods contain no anti-nutrients. Plants that contain folate are not a great source, because plants also contain compounds such as Oxalates, Lectins & Phytates, which are anti-nutrients & bind to vitamins & minerals & block absorption.
