Film evaluation for North Dakota State QB Cole Payton. After getting through some of his tape from this past season, he's in strong contention to be my 2026 QB1.. Strengths 🔘 Possesses a quick release with elite ball placement to all three levels of the field 🔘 High level throw maker capable of fitting balls into any window. Sometimes appears as though he is throwing balls through defenders 🔘 Elite processer with a high level understanding of leverage and the ability to speed up his delivery and accurately place balls under pressure 🔘 Strong and powerful runner who never gives up on a play. LB Intended Receiver Drill LB Run & Pass Techniques and Drills - Linbackers drop to their zones and then move with the Quarterback. - When they come back, they shuffle and then on the set and transfer, one will catch the ball, the second LB will block the intended receiver. - The off-backer comes around to lead the interceptor up the number. - The interceptor will run outside the number to the sideline to try to score. - Linebackers should be in a shuffle mode when the Quarterback turns his shoulders and until he drops his hand off the ball. - When the QB drops his hand, the LBs break to the ball. Tackle Sets - 4 sets (Jump/Quick/45/Vertical) - JS eat up space attack inside out, (visual we say is smell their breath, close that much space) heavy inside hand to stop inside rush, strong outside hand blow to widen rush, outside shoulder target if swing/bubble to protect throw - QS flat as possible want to cover ground quick get in their face but play longer than JS - 45 base Set, set them on angle to defeat speed & knock them outside create wide dish, take an angle to take them off their rush, still heavy inside hand focus to take away b gap rush - Vertical when expecting true speed or twist, create initial space, talk about first big kick then settle pace to match theirs - stay square, turn shoulders when they do but always maintain leverage - General aiming points your near hand to their far armpit, inside hand heavy catch hand (think grab bicep/tricep if inside move) - two hand punch heavier inside near armpit pec location for inside hand - will drill in pre practice the set tree and in practice partner rush where dl will get 2 to 3 rushes on you and OL has to do different set each time rapid fire - Great job by these guys #5STRONG #BIGDAWGS

Tackle Sets - 4 sets (Jump/Quick/45/Vertical) - JS eat up space attack inside out, (visual we say is smell their breath, close that much space) heavy inside hand to stop inside rush, strong outside hand blow to widen rush, outside shoulder target if swing/bubble to protect throw - QS flat as possible want to cover ground quick get in their face but play longer than JS - 45 base Set, set them on angle to defeat speed & knock them outside create wide dish, take an angle to take them off their rush, still heavy inside hand focus to take away b gap rush - Vertical when expecting true speed or twist, create initial space, talk about first big kick then settle pace to match theirs - stay square, turn shoulders when they do but always maintain leverage - General aiming points your near hand to their far armpit, inside hand heavy catch hand (think grab bicep/tricep if inside move) - two hand punch heavier inside near armpit pec location for inside hand - will drill in pre practice the set tree and in practice partner rush where dl will get 2 to 3 rushes on you and OL has to do different set each time rapid fire - Great job by these guys #5STRONG #BIGDAWGS

Boxing as a sport is beautiful. Boxing as a business is corrupt as fuck! For example…March 2015, in this clip I get illegally hit and my opponent doesn’t get a point deducted. I rock him and put him on the canvas and it’s considered a slip. I throw a Superman Punch rocking him again and get warned cuz my foot was off the ground and it’s “illegal”. They must not know about David Tua’s leaping left hook 😂. Anywhore, I’ve done my time in boxing as a “rookie” to the game and it felt easy for me. I decided to pursue MMA because in my heart as a kickboxer I knew some nerd in pjs made of sandpaper could beat me without throwing a single strike. Having to learn a whole new set of skills from scratch was very humbling, but it paid off in the long run 😜. It was fun but I’ll never box again, I prefer to use all my weapons in a real fight‼️

There is a SLANT GLITCH in #Madden27 that can absolutely FRY Man Coverage. It works best against backed-off Man, but can even cook Press Man if you have the right WR. The glitch gives your receiver a weird burst/stutter off the snap that can completely turn the DB around and create EASY separation. The biggest requirements: ✅ Your WR needs to be 6'0" or taller ✅ Faster WRs work better ✅ A QB with fast Hot Routes makes it MUCH easier to execute Here's how to trigger it: 1️⃣ Flip your formation OR audible into a different formation 2️⃣ Identify the LAST receiver to get set after everyone moves into position 3️⃣ Put that receiver on a Slant 4️⃣ Snap the ball IMMEDIATELY when he gets set If you time it correctly, the Slant gets a strange inside stutter that can force the Man defender into a terrible animation and create instant separation.
