@peterkyle @IWFhotline God. This is horrible. Perhaps one of the best examples of where automated image recognition to delete images on social media could vastly change the online safety landscape & identify individuals behind the abuse.

The biggest problem here is that you people like Peter Kyle don't want to punish the actual PRODUCERS / MANUFACTURERS of this kind of content adequately. @IWFhotline's job would have been much easier and the number of such content would have been closer to nil if you were not so soft on the MANUFACTURERS. Instead you go after technologically illiterate morons who intentionally and knowingly download/share this vile stuff, and even then you don't give them exemplary punishment either. Let's admit it. You, Peter, and people like you, are just way too soft on criminals. Even the newly elected US government officials are fully aware of this, and have criticized you harshly (and rightly so). @IWFhotline are doing a great job but they will never get to the root of this issue if adequate, exemplary and harsh punishments are not given to the offenders.

Parents are being warned not to post photos of their children online in case they are used to create AI-generated sexual abuse material. The National Crime Agency and the Internet Watch Foundation say the threat is growing with more than 8,000 AI-generated child abuse images and videos identified last year. They said parents should check their privacy settings, and review who is able to view images of their children.
