what about 221g interviews? can we walk in any day next week? none of us has received any email regarding rescheduling of our appointment dates. Also, is there a chance you might allow us to walk in at the consulate/embassy where we dropped our documents for dropbox?

The Dropbox appt for my husband and I was on Nov 22 in Chennai. Till date our visa is not approved. Today I sent my minor child back to US due to school while my husband and I await our visa in India. Please help!

It’s not a good strategy having one consulate processing all h1b applns. You should have a backup option, we all are unsure how much time it’s gonna take to receive our pp.

Pl provide some update to applicants who have submitted applications the week of Nov 20th. If the interview waiver program results in such delays, something is not right. Most companies don’t even give leave for more than 2 wks. Not all can “work from home”

Submitted my J1 dropbox application on 28th dec. Since then application is stuck at “application received”. Please provide some clear communication on timelines. Contacted through emails and phone multiple times but no reply. @VFSGlobal @USAndChennai @DrSJaishankar

If you can't handle the crowd why @USAndChennai send mail only the date has changed and time will be the same,after reaching the consulate,they ask to make a long queue and preferences given to the fresh interview applicant this is unethical

@vfsglobalcare My Husband's status has been in Application Received since Nov 25th. While we understand the embassy was closed due to weather conditions, its been unclear on when the passport would be ready for pickup. Even our email sent was autoresolved without response.

There are a lot of people who have been separated from their families, who are on the verge of losing their jobs and many whose career is on the line. There has been no response and clarity from @USAndChennai @DrSJaishankar @MEAIndia please help us !!!

Dear @USAndChennai @VFSGlobal our consular appointments got canceled on dec 6th and till date we have not received any update on our interview dates (h1b) and calling the customer care number is of no use bcoz it will never connect and no reply’s to emails
