Low energy tv shows for kids will always be preferred over the overstimulating tv shows and video games they’re consuming today. Bear in the Big Blue House is also a good one.

This is from Little Bear 🐻 Little Bear is a gentle, low-stimulation Canadian animated television series based on the classic children's books written by Else Holmelund Minarik and illustrated by Maurice Senda

Then you'll love this one

This show was childhood. So calm. I loved those occasional days of catching some episodes with a pb&j sandwich.

And we can all agree that this was back when Nick Junior was very well educated instead of what it is currently. Right?

Life was so simple back then 😢 😭

i forgot how soothing this show was

O Pequeno Urso Eu amava! Desenho de baixo estímulo. Tem a primeira temporada completa no YouTube

This and Franklin were constants for me growing up. I feel like I was part of the last generation to get consistent quality entertainment growing up.

The leaf pile is now filled with ticks

Little Bear and Little Bill were chill as hell. Nickelodeon had all the codes back then. But if you REALLY want some ASMR, rewatch Kipper the Dog. Those goddamn episodes had me hipnotized and put me out after 15 minutes. No cartoon today compares.

This is what kids need to grow up watching imo🥹

Nelvana made some really good low-stimulation feel-good animated shows for young children, such as this, "Franklin," "The Berenstain Bears," and "Max and Ruby."

Little Bear had the life….No rushing around, just enjoying the moment. No anxiety, just good company and nature.

TAKE ME BACK.

People won't admit it but time passed slower back then.

For some reason the first thought I had just now when watching this was “Oh there’s probably ticks in there”

These types of shows are the only ones I let my kids watch

My 1 yr old niece absolutely loves little bear! @mleidl37

Little Bear sounds exactly like a younger Bear from Franklin but apparently they aren't the same voice actor?

There should be more cartoons like this for kids in the 2020s. Bring back the jazz and piano music, warm animation, and a slice-of-life world kids could immerse themselves in. And definitely the soothing dialogues.

Little Bear was such a comfy show, I'd even watch it in later grade school just for something slower and calming.

This was def my fav show growing up. That episode when Hen taught them how to yodel !!

No one seems to ever remember or talk about Allegra’s window. I still sing ‘I did it myself!’

Always shocked when people don't know about the books! I didn't for so long 😭

Replace your streaming services with a NAS filled with shows like this, and a streamer with Plex installed on it.

The type of shit my future kids will be watching

Okay since little bear is trending- I have a new baby. I watch it all the time now Little bear is 6. Hen, his friend, lives alone. Duck seems to be an aunt. Owl has his own apartment. Why are they hanging out with a child?

I used to love little bear when I was a kid. This show was such a vibe man.

Little Bear!! 🥹 I loved this show. Something about it still feels so peaceful and comforting all these years later. 💜

@NotBubbz My son love this show .. one of them GO Tos before bed

Shhhhhhhh 🤫 its soooooooooooooooo chill and soooooooooooooo relaxing. No rush........just enjoy the soothing vibes.........until Gullah Gullah Island energizes you!

Little Bear... I watch this every day with my nephews. It's very soothing and funny. ☺️

The best show. My son and I watch it everyday. I love having it on while I’m working.
