The issue is that Russia, as the aggressor in an internationally unlawful war of aggression, doesn't seek peace but rather your resources. I doubt Russia will change its stance unless the West finally sends enough weapons to force Russia to react.

We continue to counter Russia’s attempts to weaken the Peace Summit, which will take place in two weeks. Russia can no longer thwart the summit, although it works hard to achieve such a goal. Russia puts pressure on leaders and openly threatens various countries with destabilization. This is one of the consequences of the world giving the terrorist state too much time. Unfortunately, evil knows how to adapt and is now using all its resources to divide the world and prevent the world from forcing Russia to make peace. Despite these efforts, nearly 100 states and international organizations are already participating in the global effort. Today, I had a long meeting with all our officials involved in the organization of the summit to direct their work on ensuring its success. I thank everyone around the world who is currently making calls and holding negotiations to ensure that this global format serves as an example of how different nations working together can restore the effectiveness of the UN Charter and force the aggressor to make peace.

Today in Kharkiv, another Russian precision-guided aerial bomb struck a civilian postal terminal. Currently, we know of ten injured. Sadly, one person was killed. Such Russian bombs remain Putin’s key capability to wage war. The sooner the world helps us neutralize Russia’s combat aviation launching these bombs and the sooner we can strike back with justified strikes against Russian military infrastructure and airfields, the closer peace will be. The world possesses enough strength to force Russia to make peace. While defending the Kharkiv region from Russian advances, we have shown that the resolve of partners truly makes a difference. Strikes on Russian border areas have helped our efforts to save lives. Similarly, further bold decisions will help, the ones that are necessary and the ones we are discussing with partners. We will continue this communication in the coming weeks in order to secure necessary decisions. Equally crucial, in the weeks following the Peace Summit, we have maintained constant dialogue with partners to support the summit’s communiqué. Already, we have secured ten more signatures from various participants across the world. The world must be represented as broadly as possible in peace efforts. Today, Russian forces attempted to expand their operations against Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. We know the size of the occupiers' forces and their intentions. Our warriors, artillery, and drones are fighting back against the occupier. I thank each soldier, sergeant, and officer who is defending our positions. We are strengthening Kharkiv directions. Along the state border and on the frontlines, we will continue to destroy the occupiers and thwart Russia's offensive intentions. It is critical that partners support our warriors and Ukrainian resilience with timely deliveries. Truly timely ones. A package that truly helps is the actual delivery of weapons to Ukraine, rather than just the announcement of a package. I thank every leader who sees the situation this way. We also continue to actively prepare for the Global Peace Summit. Our goal is to ensure that every leader can demonstrate effectiveness for the sake of the common good. I am confident we will succeed. And we must acknowledge that this is precisely what Russia is attempting to undermine right now. The more meaningful the summit, the closer peace will be. A package that truly helps is the actual delivery of weapons to Ukraine, rather than just the announcement of a package. I thank every leader who sees the situation this way. We also continue to actively prepare for the Global Peace Summit. Our goal is to ensure that every leader can demonstrate effectiveness for the sake of the common good. I am confident we will succeed. And we must acknowledge that this is precisely what Russia is attempting to undermine right now. The more meaningful the summit, the closer peace will be. Putin obviously does not want it. It is also clear that he will continue to try to thwart our efforts, both through offensive action and by undermining our agreements with other leaders. Today, Ukrainian representatives will continue their discussions in the United States with President Trump’s team. Our task now is to obtain full information about what was said in Moscow and what other pretexts Putin has come up with to drag out the war and to pressure Ukraine. Ukraine is prepared for any possible developments, and of course we will work as constructively as possible with all partners to ensure that peace is achieved – and that it is, after all, a dignified peace. Only a dignified peace provides real security, and we fully understand that this requires – and will continue to require – the support of our partners.

Ukraine strikes back with precise, targeted attacks, and unlike Russia, we know exactly what we aim to achieve. Peace, of course. We are not waging war for the sake of war, as Russia does. Even Hamas shows deal-making acumen, but not Putin. For now. Together with our partners, we are creating the conditions to compel Russia to peace. And it will happen. We support all global diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace in the Middle East, and we strongly expect that just pressure on Russia will bring peace to Ukraine and to our entire region as well. It is important that the leadership of the United States continue to be effective.

Today, I continued our diplomatic marathon of preparing for the Global Peace Summit. It will bring together many leaders with the goal of implementing the Peace Formula, which can force Russia into a just peace. Today I spoke with the leaders of Romania, Angola, and Iraq. I invited them to the Summit and informed them about the efforts that have already been made to organize it and ensure its successful outcomes. The United Nations Charter brings together all nations, and they are all equally interested in seeing its purposes and principles implemented as a truly effective tool for maintaining peace.
