When covering an existential threat like climate change it can sometimes be hard to hold on to hope, so as British naturalist David Attenborough releases a much-awaited documentary, here’s what he told me about finding hope in nature and in humanity.

"This is a major existential threat...to humanity." When David Jacobs began investigating UFO sightings 59 years ago, he believed the aliens were our space brothers and he was excited about the possibility of contact. After 50 years of research and investigating over 1100 abduction events, he changed his mind. He now believes the aliens are an existential threat to humanity. People who are against the so called "threat narrative" like to claim David Jacobs funneled abductees into his preconceived worldview. In reality, he did not funnel abductees into his worldview-his worldview changed as he received new data.

David Attenborough used falsehoods about dead walruses to push a narrative about climate change and then he and Prince William launched the whole lie at the World Economic Forum. Even when he was corrected by people who actually knew their stuff, he still refused to correct the falsehood. So, yes, you may be part of the euphoric 'Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough - king of nature, blah blah blah' but I think he's a manufactured media character and an establishment apparatchik.
