WHEN I MAKE THE SAME POINT - WHICH I LEARNT FROM VAMUGABE - PEOPLE DON’T UNDERSTAND ME! THE GOAL OF LIBERATION WAS TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE STATE IN ORDER TO TURN INTO A WEAPON OF STRUGGLE FOR BLACK EMPOWERMENT. HOWEVER BAD IT IS RUN, WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE...

ZANU-PF and zvigananda destroyed the state. Money is moved by individuals and not by state institutions. It’s a shame.

The controlling of state institutions by individuals is the destruction. Muri kurasika papi Mhofu. I am in agreement with you that the state is all we have. I am also saying the state has been abused for years now. We have families who think the state is their fiefdom!

Only that in your case it's about a few blacks who've made things worse than the former oppressors. You're the corrupt lot Dr Dhlozi is insisting must not be in charge.

You supposedly the only bright lights in Zanu and u miss he is talking about Zanu PF/ANC has hijacked and failed to use gov support to grow talent. Instead resources are wasted on useless and untalented people like Weaknail Or speak on behalf of the progressive camp that’s against zvigananda

@gift_mugano For reference, the farm Mechanisation done by Gideon, all govt officials who benifited owe the RBZ & the State. BOB died without paying a cent of the 2 M he was given. Black Zanu pf politicians still owe the State. They don't pay back loans. I can reference other unpaid loans.

The state must be different from ZANU the party. It's what most of us keep saying and know! It is what @MbuyiseniNdlozi and most people are saying and struggling for!

@MbuyiseniNdlozi Tired of homilies!!! Tell me what you can do with the State. We have too many preachers without one more!!!

DWD's profile picture

I agree with you, and Ndlozi sharpens it. The state is not the enemy. Used well, it is what makes a people productive and the shield of those who have nothing. You do not surrender it because a few have run it down. You reclaim it. But that is exactly where the hard question sits. How do we deal with the elements who capture the state and milk it for their own gain, the same failure Ndlozi lays at the ANC's door? Reclaiming the state means little if the next clique can hijack it again. Ownership is not the whole battle. Holding whoever holds it to account is the unfinished work. How do you see us doing that?

@CMukungunugwa The liberation philosophy falls apart when the state after it is secured by the stalwarts of the liberation is then used to benefit just a few, even fewer than those it was wrestled from. Your argument is flawed in the Zimbabwean context, moreso from one who is part of the system

I think some of us don't know how to follow these instructions. How do we reform, own, control & use the state? And the ones who do know how often weoponize this knowledge against other fellow citizens. Control without proper governance hinders true empowerment, Sir.

I agree with you 100%. Only problem is not all of us have access to The State. Many development ideas die in people's pockets without ever being tabled because there is limited or no access.

Real truth, looks like SA has misplaced priorities. Wasting time on Commision on Inquiries on leadership , keeping the pple pacified, instead of tackling tough issues for the masses. @MbuyiseniNdlozi

African politicians are jealous of the pace white people set for them and hate being compared to them that is the benchmark that will always make black Africans appreciate the importance of what colonization brought to Africa once you have exhausted the lies .

@KMutisi It’s okay to have those sentiments as long as it’s not your family members dying from the state led corruption , human rights abuses etc . Dai uriwe going through these horrid conditions you wouldn’t be saying this nonsense.

If the state is the key resource for black empowerment, then citizens have every right to question how resources are being allocated and managed. We spent millions on CAB3, yet as a farmers im struggling to get AN fertilizer. Nyika kushaya AN sure

Stop saying these things without responsibility . White people came and developed Africa why didn’t Africans do it . Why are whites so bad for taking Africans from living in huts 🛖 to giving us electricity , ⚡️ roads , cars 🚙, trains . What have we done to match this since . 😂

Except of course, ITS NOT! Africans are timid, fearful and controlled easily by ZANU and guns! No leadership, but massively corrupt leadership and so timid they accept abuse for years and years! ZANU knows this and has stolen EVERYTHING from Zimbabwe, but their future. And they are stealing that now with CAB3, eh??? Eh??? Eh????
