You were all asking to not intervene Tesla FSD when it gets into a pickle. During my Tesla #FSDEurope test drive in 🇳🇱 the car suddenly started doing weird things when taking a turn. Turns out that the normal lane was closed and #FSD had to figure out on its own that not had to go into the wrong lane. So it hesitated, but then was very decisive about it. What seemed ike "what the heck are you doing?" turned out to be the right move until, it realised it couldn't complete that move. Very impressive! Testing Tesla #FSDEurope with Kees Roelandschap in Amsterdam. Driving through this chaotic little street, with cyclists and pedestrians behaving erratically. And FSD just takes it as a champ. Human would be nervous, FSD just say "nah, I got this"! It sees everything around itself and reacts very safely to the vulnerable road users. Awesome! Had the weirdest Tesla FSD experience today. Without any warning and with my destination kilometers away, the car just decided to park on the side of the road in a small intersection and it stayed there until I took over. At first I thought it was moving aside to let a priority vehicle pass, but there was none. No idea what the heck the car was thinking 🧐🤷‍♂️. Amsterdam streets are crowded and a challenging play for FSD. The Bollenstreek (Tulips near Keukenhof) has many small roads that aren't realy 2 way roads, many tourists, bikes and pedestrians, giving FSD a massive challenge that it handled much better than I expected. Watch the Model S conquer this challenge without being in the way of anyone and raising some thank you's. There was also an encouter with the Bollenstreek classic tour convoy. The visualisation is a bit hard to see, as it's only on the instrument cluster, but you can see FSD is on all the time. FSD supervised in Europe: Another great video of our drive with FSD supervised in Dusseldorf, Germany yesterday. Here you can clearly see how the Tesla Model 3 stays fully in control in a busy area again. Passing two parked vehicles in the street (on our lane), seeing the second vehicle even before me, reacting to a fast biker that suddenly comes from the right side, and smoothly driving over tramrails on the left lane with no markings on the street at all. FSD is so needed in Europe, it will not only make our lives safer but also so much more relaxed. What a pleasure it was to be in this car, even when we were not driving (yet). Since Tesla FSD Supervised got approved to use in Belgium so much footage has been published here on X. We cannot be anything but impressed. I will add one more to that list. This was our first testdrive with FSD Supervised in Belgium.🇧🇪 FSD avoided an crash with a Range Rover. It stopped instantly and saw the car before we saw it. The Range Rover was driving too fast and stopped last minute. The footage doesn’t show us exactly how it felt but believe me when I say Tesla_Calle and myself were deeply impressed. This week we will get a Tesla with FSD Supervised to use for a few days. Can’t wait to also start posting about it here! Here it squeezes in between the curb and tram with literally only centimeters to spare, while at the same time looking out for pedestrians and cyclists. It is truly amazing technology that enhances safety, because in cities like this, you really need eyes in the back of your head and the car actually has 360 views that it watches and processes simultaneously. Here you so clearly see that FSD does not need any lines etc on the street, even when its very unclear where to drive it finds its way so easily. It gives such a safe feeling... You also see how the Tesla two times adjusts completely to pedestrians that are crossing the street. First time after a green light for us, second time also when we get a green light, you see that the last pedestrian is still a bit out on the street (on our left side) and so the Tesla drove away very carefully, moving a bit away to the right.
