Starting your leg workout with leg curls is a great idea. Research suggests it may help better activate the hamstrings. If you're choosing between seated and lying leg curls, it seems the seated version has a slight edge for muscle growth because it trains the hamstrings at a longer muscle length. That said, both variations work well—pick the one you enjoy most or simply alternate between them. And if you're staring at “motivational pictures” like the ones in front of my machine... your competitive spirit is guaranteed to kick in 😅💪

Shoutout to my 12-year-old son, Luke—his work ethic is building some downright insane hammys! 💪 Strong hamstrings = strength, speed, and power. There are over 100 studies on Nordic leg curls. Instead of Netflix, I dare you to hit Google Scholar and see why they’re a game changer.

Everyone thinks crunches are the best way to work abs. But this is a lie. Here are 7 exercises that build your entire core (not just your 'six–pack'): 🧵 1. Dead bug
