You're getting payed to deliver the food right? So fck your tip. Food's already getting expensive enough

Driver is stupid. She could get tipped in cash and it would be off the delivery company's books so they wouldn't be able to take any of it and wouldn't be able to report it to tax agencies. (The driver would be responsible but we all know that most ppl wouldn't report it...)

I did DoorDash for a little while. 100% would prefer a cash tip if they decided to tip me. Not once did it ever occur to me to not perform the delivery service or be vindictive if they didn’t include a tip on the app. Just wild!

That's insane, I Dash and we get paid for each delivery regardless of tip.

The driver is 💯 wrong! Most people pay tips in cash so the server doesn't have to split or claim the tip 😒 report the driver for even *touching* anything more than the outside of the bag! People are such assholes!

The driver, Many people don't tip through the app so the driver gets the full tip. Tip through the apps and the service takes a cut.

I defend the customer, she's not required to tip the delivery driver.

I'm not tipping anyone until after I get service. I'm not giving you in the so either to avoid taxes to you. There should have never been a note because the DD doesn't deserve a tip, it's a gift.

I think no one is in the wrong tbh. The woman knows people are reckless when they don’t get tipped, but gave her a warning and refused the tip when she recognized she was wrong. I think it was just an unfortunate situation.

The driver for expecting a tip in the first place and getting so assmad she left a note and everything. This is why I use apps that don't tell the driver what tip they'll be getting, so they can't pick and choose their level of service ahead of time.

Clearly everyone in the comments are slow. The driver pulled up with the food and note about no tip in the bag because she assumed she wasn’t getting tipped because there was no tip on the app. Plot twist tho! The customer HAD A CASH TIP the lady didn’t take it cause she felt BAD

She literally tried to give her a tip as well and she said nah I already fucked up 🤣

It’s never too late to acknowledge your mistakes and do better moving forward.

Just open the bag, take out the stupid card, apologize and get your tip.
