@WaysandMeansGOP HARD STOP! Yes, the cost of the tax stamp is an issue, but the real problem that everyone is pissed about is the unnecessary and unconstitutional registration of the suppressor. The NFA is a ridiculous and outdated idea. Abolish the NFA!

I don’t want a lower or no tax. I want Suppressor, Short barrel rifles and short barrel shotguns OUT of the NFA. I don’t want a $0 tax, I want no NFA for these items. Pass the Hearing Protection Act as originally written out of committee and send it for a vote.

@WaysandMeansGOP We The People want the Hearing Protection Act to be passed as written, completely out of the NFA. If the ATF can have suppressors for Heath & Safety, they We The People should be able to have them for the same reason. Failure will taken care of at the Voting booth!!!!

While most citizens were enjoying their holiday, it was passed — and it did not include an amendment that would have limited this to specifically only millionaires and prevent it from growing its tax base to people making less than that” “So make no mistake, if this tax passes the House of Representatives and is signed by the governor, it will eventually grow to include you too, sooner rather than later.”

DOJ's AAG Harmeet Dhillon released this video on the 2nd Amendment less than two months ago. Earlier this week they made one of the, if not the, most aggressive cases ever in court *IN FAVOR* of keeping SBRs/SBSs/suppressors/etc... on the NFA despite the tax being removed by congress (the NFA is a tax, so if there's no tax then...) earlier this year. Rep Ben Cline asks AG Pam Bondi why they're STILL enforcing a registration requirement, and the felony criminal penalties that come with it, for NFA items despite the "tax" being removed as of January 1st this year. She responds that it's "pending litigation" which is technically true. However, it's only true because her DOJ hasn't dropped their support of it in court.
