While I do believe vaccines play a strong role, we made the choice not to vaccinate based on our research. There may be other factors that cause autism as well. It could be fire retardants, BPA, or Sucralose.

There seems to be a lot at play where Big Pharma, Big Food, and Big Ag is concerned. But I can speak more accurately from the perspective of someone within the Autism community. Autism and other special needs have gotten swept up in identity ideology. In this ideology, Autism is seen as an integral part of the individual, similar if not altogether a part of his or her personality. So when parents of children with autism like me speak about the devastating parts of the disease, we are reprimanded for not loving and accepting our children. To tear down this ideology will mean the medical, educational, and autism communities—parents, teachers, pediatricians, therapists—will have to admit that they have misunderstood Autism and have not actually helped their kids. And that will be a devastating reality for many to face. But it is necessary.
