Not to mention with the push by Justin & Liberals to EV’s, electric heating, etc how long before the power grid blackouts & rationing happen? (Their track record on managing things is littered with failures and will put us into a situation like Germany.)

It is reliable, dispatchable, and produces virtually no CO2 - yet many environmental groups oppose new dams. The same contradiction appears with nuclear power. Nuclear produces zero operational CO2, runs 24 hours a day, and uses far less land than wind or solar. If cutting emissions were truly the priority here, the focus would be obvious: Hydropower and nuclear, not endless wind and solar expansion.

Wind and solar don't come anywhere near that, just 33% and 23% respectively. And on top of all that, a one gigawatt nuclear plant fits on about one square mile and powers 750,000 homes. The US needs to unleash more domestic baseload power to meet our robust energy and AI goals as a nation. As for offshore wind, it’s an intermittent source of energy that is not a substitute for baseload power. Natural gas, nuclear, coal, etc. can’t be held back, shouldn’t be held back, and, at the Trump EPA, WON’T BE HELD BACK!
