Don’t be a dumbass like sladoc - wasting Tesla engineering time and blocking real customers who actually want/need to get on an Unsupervised FSD Robotaxi - by constantly changing your destination just to ride around in it for 2.5 hours straight. That’s exactly how you get kicked out, just like Tesla already did to this guy. This is not a joke.

Elon Musk in a new interview this morning on Tesla FSD: "In terms of having self-driving be ubiquitous, I think we’re making steady progress. The Tesla Full Self-Driving software, which is really just AI and cameras, we don’t use radars or LIDAR or anything like that. It’s really trying to drive the car in the same way that a human drives the car, primarily with vision and with a biological neural net. We take the same approach with our vehicles, which is a digital neural net and cameras. I expect this approach to ultimately be at least an order of magnitude safer than humans driving. It is quite magical because the car feels like it is sentient. It actually feels like it’s alive and you can actually, as we improve the software, feel the sentience growing in the car. We already have some vehicles operating with no people inside with no safety monitors in three cities in Texas and probably will be widespread in the US by the end of this year and hopefully in Israel too" Tesla FSD is beginning to feel more and more sentient with each update, it’s incredible. It’s a bummer… but it was a MAJOR update from Tesla’s Q1 2026 earnings call today with Elon confirming that Hardware 3 will not be able to achieve Unsupervised FSD. “Unfortunately, Hardware 3, I wish it were otherwise, but Hardware 3 simply does not have the capabilities to achieve Unsupervised FSD. You know, we did think at one point it would have that, but relative to hardware, it has only 1/8 of the memory bandwidth of Hardware 4, and memory bandwidth is one of the key elements needed for Unsupervised FSD.” Tesla plans to fix it for customers who bought FSD by: A) Discounted trade-in toward a vehicle with full Hardware 4 OR B) Direct upgrade by replacing the HW3 computer and the cameras to bring the car to HW4 spec To make upgrades fast and scalable, Elon also told us that: “…we’re going to have to set up like, kind of microfactories or small factories in major metropolitan areas… So we basically need like many production lines to make the change.” He also said over time it makes sense to convert all HW3 cars to HW4 bc this is what will enable them to enter the Robotaxi fleet and have Unsupervised FSD.
