Explore the shallow seas as a stingray, vibe coded on ThreeJs using Cursor. I made a similar game more than a year ago, but I hit a roadblock because the models back then (I think I was using Sonnet 3.5) struggled with handling 3D models, but now, it's a different story. All 3D models were made with Tripo3D and I was able to put this together in less than 8 hours worth of work. I mainly used Composer 2.5 and Opus 4.8 to make this. Will try to find the original game I made a while ago and put it into the replies section.

Vibe coded this in just 20 minutes in Google AI Studio. For some tasks, designers will be able to skip the design step and just test a live prototype right away. And when it gets backend, imo it’ll be even more transformative for the industry than I thought. Overall, pretty smooth experience.

Poor guy had his paint can hanging from the garage door when his girl opened it. Wasn’t anybody’s fault but his imprint on the car was hilarious, could this have been avoided? Me thinks he won’t be doing that again. When I was fixing up the current house I was working on I left one of those paint cups on the steps. Some people knocked on the door while I was working so I rushed downstairs to check to see who it was. Some people saw I was working on a house and was asking about rent details. Afterwards I had a quick puff on the vape mod and grabbed a drink. I casually walked upstairs totally forgetting I left that cup on the stairs, I stepped in it with the front portion of my foot, fell onto the handing and was coated in a splash of paint, it got on the wood stairs as well. I didn’t have time to clean myself up well because I needed to hurry up and clean the wood stairs before the paint sets and stains it. I managed to get most of it but then a new problem arose. The paint on me was still dripping. So I had to strip down and throw the clothes in a wadded ball and bagged it. Now the problem is solved right? No, how can I walk to the car in my undershirts without being noticed by the neighbors. I ended up standing by the door waiting until the coast was clear, I swear it felt like an hour but was only about 7 minutes. I think I need to heed my own warnings and start packing a pair of a spare clothes for instances like this or at least some painters smocks.

ok this time I asked Fable to generate me a particle + trails system based on the skinning velocity, after a few iterations in Omma AI it came out with these 4 presets! I like the steel wool most, I think it can be used to recreate dr. Strange's portal

Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

Everyone's talking about vibe coding without looking at code. I was skeptical. I decided to give it a shot on a challenging problem and was blown away by what I could accomplish in 8 hours. I'm not skeptical anymore, but I also do NOT think it kills SaaS Notes: - I tried to replicate some of my favorite features from the Solve-It platform as a jupyter extension - I've tried this many times before, and it didn't work. - I gave my agent specific testing tools that I packaged as skills. I used AI to write the skills. I found the right testing workflow for this Jupyter extension by having AI peruse lots of other extensions and the Jupyter source code. - I had the AI write and maintain a large suite of tests the whole time. I think this was important in keeping the AI on track. - I watched the diffs and the thinking traces as they streamed by. From time to time, I would see something very suspicious like " try ... except: pass" And would stop the AI and tell it to stop this behavior. Then trigger a comprehensive code review using AI. - Most importantly, I don't think this kills SasS at all. Even if I can create software that replicates some of my favorite features, there is an insanely long tail of paper cuts and features I don't want to manage. The models and capabilities are improving so fast that I don't want to constantly tune everything. So I would rather leave that up to people who are focused on that daily and have good taste, with the knowledge that it has been battle tested against many users.

This is well worth a watch because it is broadly in line with my research in terms of Robinson being immersed in the discord server world of meme culture, but I do think there is some indication of a fascination with the alt-right. This assessment however could be right, I am simply just not buying this is about left wing radicalisation, much as right wing media now seem obsessed with the transgender obsession. I think from a political point of view it’s time for me to move back to the economy and I know many want to keep the Epstein files pressure on, which I agree with too. ✨ Added a CRT curvature distortion to pieter™ now It takes the Em-DOSBox and processes it in WebGL and builds a new with the distortion of a classic CRT screen which had this convex curvature (like an old TV) even though the screen itself was square I had this working on DOSBox on MacOS and on Linux with CRT-Pi shader, but on web it doesn't support shaders so I had to build my own with Claude Code in JS, very easy I remember trying this a year ago and Claude Code fucked it up so bad that I gave up, so I think the models have improved a lot Tomorrow I'll try add some scanlines, it really helps make the simulation more passable (and nostalgic!) 😊👌
