Watch my full interview with Kevin Ryan:

It’s nice to have language options, Some days, it’s easier to explain some things in Spanish, versus English. AI is helpful, you must learn how to use it because it is NOT going away. Gracias @tferriss por tener personas de gran interes y variedad

AI can lie to you in many languages. Silly. Silly, silly. People.

we're watching reads more like a threat than a feature

maybe the best support skill is asking before assuming

Agents cut support costs, driving real user retention.

The language shift is a great example of agents reducing friction rather than just answering faster. Meeting people in the language they’re most comfortable using could improve both clarity and trust, especially in support flows where nuance matters.

Real problem is when the AI agent has more charisma than the human support rep it replaced.

Soon it won't ask if you'd be more comfortable in another language. It'll just *be* it. Big shift.

Are we getting to the point where learning foreign languages will be a nice-to-have rather than a must-have?”

Customers don't buy fluency. They buy the feeling that someone owned their problem. Agents that miss that lose even when the language is perfect.
