Question to conservatives… Elon Musk says there will be a “universal high income” due to AI-driven job displacement and abundance. So, why is this ok but giving people free healthcare or poor people food stamps is considered “communism”? Musk certainly isn’t a communist but you all called Obama one. For the record I do think that AI will lead to a universal high income scenario and that governments and corporations will have to be involved to make this work.

Lina’s condescending response, while saying the county keeps spending money we don’t have, included paying for things the county SHOULD BE paying for and are actually the priorities. Our county budget should be used for: Legally Mandated & Debt Obligations, Flood control, Essential Infrastructure & Operations and Core Public Safety Functions, Sheriff’s Office & Constables, Judicial & Legal System. We should not be making priority or paying for social programs, holistic programs, universal basic income scams etc. This county has wasted hundreds of millions on everything else but our necessary core services putting millions of people at risk. The NEED for things should be prioritized over the WANT.

So those are sized that every, for every 250 registrations on the voter rolls, now warm bodies, but every 250 registrations, you have one more BMD. And precincts have a certain number of bmds. So if you have a lot more registrations, you have more equipment, you have more precincts, it increases the budget for the county and the state” “The more people, the more precincts you need in order to, to let people vote in — You don't want to have long lines. NEW: California is on the verge of approving a measure that would make illegal immigrants eligible for $150,000 in state-supported home loans for down payments. California taxpayers may soon be paying for illegal immigrants' down payments on homes. Illegals won't be required to save any money considering the state would be funding their down payment, something that almost all financial institutions require to purchase a home. "If the bill reaches his desk, the Governor will evaluate it on its merits," said a spokesperson for Gavin Newsom. The program is called the "California Dream for All" loan program, which will provide 20% down payment assistance up to $150,000. Here is Gavin Newsom telling people to not lecture him on the border because he is a "border state governor." If he approves this measure, he will effectively be encouraging illegals to come to California.
