This is the fastest way I’ve found to send huge files without compression across the world. It’s called Blip. A file transfer app that lets you send massive files directly from your device to someone else’s. No cloud upload first. No waiting for a download link. No file size panic. No video quality getting destroyed. No “upgrade your storage” nonsense. Just pick the file and send it. What it can do: • Send files of any size • Send entire folders • Resume interrupted transfers • Keep original quality • Work across long distances • Transfer between desktop and mobile • Use end-to-end encrypted transfers • Run on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android The wild part: Blip says it can handle files up to 99TB. Because it is not trying to be Dropbox. It does not make you upload the file to a cloud drive first, then force the other person to download it later. The receiver starts getting the file while you are still sending it. WeTransfer makes you upload. AirDrop only works nearby. Cloud drives turn sharing into storage management. Blip just sends the file. This is the file transfer app creators should have had years ago. Website:

Another weekend with OCaml and coffee 🐫☕️ The fully functional file system tree TUI viewer is almost done. Now it can traverse the entire file system tree back and forth! 📂 Yes, it can get files from a real directory. Yes, it even remembers the exact position on a previous level. Yes, it uses a zipper. Yes, I almost had to solve a differential equation to define this data structure 🥲 And yes, it's still only a small part of a bigger project...

A tiny protocol to stream data over QR codes in both directions at once. Each device confirms receipt of the previous chunk, so it handles interruptions smoothly. Made this for webRTC signalling and other things as part of the Folk Canvas project with @chrisshank23

This guy built a visual scanner that reads 468 points on his face and 42 points on his hands from a regular webcam and turns them into a cloud of thousands of particles right between his palms. Inside, MediaPipe and TouchDesigner are linked: the first captures hands and face from the webcam with high accuracy, the second turns those coordinates into a live plane and feeds it into a POP system that instantly generates a swarm of particles in the shape of a head. No studio, no render farmer, no VR headset. Just a laptop, a webcam, and 1 TouchDesigner session. And traditional VJ studios keep teams of 5 people on a setup with lighting, custom hardware, and commercial plugins, while his expenses are only a TouchDesigner subscription and a regular USB camera. One laptop runs MediaPipe and TouchDesigner simultaneously, holds the camera stream at 60 FPS without drops, and in parallel processes 468 face points + 21 points on each hand. The camera captures frame after frame, MediaPipe in real time sends TouchDesigner the finger coordinates and face geometry, and the POP operator inside the engine translates those numbers into thousands of particle points with colors from bright pink to gold. This setup immediately defines the role of the tool and the limits of its autonomy. It knows where the fingertips are at every moment of the frame. It knows how to read the face geometry at any angle to the camera. It knows how to draw a swarm of particles between them with the right color and contour. → MediaPipe pulls 468 points from the face and 21 points from each hand, 60 times per second → TouchDesigner receives those coordinates, builds a virtual rectangle between the fingertips, and feeds it into the POP system → POP generates thousands of particle points in the shape of a head, coloring them in a gradient from bright pink to gold → The HUD layer adds green corners and a blue neon frame, styling the image like an AR interface → All layers assemble into 1 real-time frame that projects back onto the video in the camera window → The final image is recorded to a file or broadcast to a projector for a live installation And only when the guy spreads his hands wider does the plane between the palms stretch; brings them together, it narrows. Otherwise the system runs on its own. And when he moves from his home room to a concert hall, the same laptop with the same webcam launches the same TouchDesigner session in just 5 minutes, without reconfiguration, without a new team, and without a single line of new code. In his work setup there is no studio of his own and no team for assembly. On the desk sits a laptop with a webcam, on top run MediaPipe and TouchDesigner with POP operators, and the same setup through a USB camera moves to any concert without a new configuration. Out of everything I have seen this year, this is the cleanest Creative Coding setup on 1 laptop: 0 render farms, 0 studio lighting, and between them 3 libraries, thousands of particle points, and 1 webcam.

2 Cursor Composer agents working together on the same project. one builds the project, the other reviews once the first agent is done and writes a report. cursor rules file is in comment to achieve this. first agent is instructed to build the project second agent is instructed to write a monitoring script to determine when the project is done then to review the project for errors and write a report This prompt can be improved. This is meant as a baseline If you are interested in learning how to use Cursor more in depth, I have a 28 chapter 1000x Cursor Course building full apps from scratch with 19 hours of content. link is in my bio if you are interested

I wanted to see how far I could push MCode CLI on a small game project, so I asked it to build a complete racing game from scratch. It started with a single index.html( no build step, no dependencies, just double-click and play.) The game already had steering, collisions, enemy cars, parallax scrolling, and a difficulty curve. Then, without leaving the same workflow, I had MCode use M3 (with multimodal capability) to create the player car, skyline, and start-screen visuals, and integrate them directly into the game. Once the game was done, it used H3 Max to create a 10s cinematic trailer for i. The part I liked most is that MCode CLI handled the whole thing as one continuous build: code, assets, integration, and final media, all from the terminal. All embedded as base64 — still fully offline, still one file (~595 KB).

This prompt is super useful for human resources. One Excel template with 30 fully encrypted PDF payslip links. When the number changes in Excel, it updates in the PDF. Kimi literally created a template and workflow for you to automate your work. Prompt: Generate 30 individual PDF pay slips from the master list. 1. Design (Template): Do not just print the row. Apply a formal 'Corporate Letterhead' template to each PDF (Company name at top, distinct 'Earnings' vs 'Deductions' sections, grey footer). 2. Logic (Security): Password protect each PDF using the employee's ID last 4 digits. 3. File Logic: Name each file strictly as [Dept]_[Name]_[Month].pdf. Create a summary Excel sheet with hyperlinks to all 30 local files for easy checking. Ensure all data and exhibits are fully consistent between Excel and PDF files. The company name is Radiohead.

What If Your Phone Became the Screen for an ESP32-S3? Droidputter lets you plug an ESP32-S3 into an Android phone over USB-OTG and use the phone as its display, keyboard, GPS and firmware flasher. The ESP32-S3 still runs the application. The phone simply provides the missing hardware. The clever part is that Cardputer apps can be rebuilt with a display and keyboard shim, while pixel data is streamed over the ESP32-S3's native USB-CDC connection. The phone can then flash the firmware and mirror the app. You can even take an open-source Cardputer app from GitHub and build a phone-mirrored version on demand. It is a really interesting combination of ESP32-S3, USB-OTG, Android, PlatformIO and open-source apps. Would you build an ESP32-S3 device that uses your phone as its screen?

Polymorphic moulding: a manufacturing method that forms parts using a grid of computer-controlled pins: Each pin can move up or down independently, so together they shape a surface that acts like a custom mould. Instead of building a fixed mould for every product, the machine quickly repositions the pins to match a new digital model. This means a mould can be created in minutes, used, and then reshaped again for the next design. Because the hardware stays the same and only its configuration changes: > no permanent tooling is needed > very little material is wasted > setup time between products is minimal The system essentially turns mould making into a programmable process. Engineers send a design file, the pins form the mould geometry, and the material is cast or formed inside it. Especially useful for rapid prototyping and customised manufacturing, where many different shapes must be produced in small quantities without rebuilding tools each time. The latest loophole that third-party file manager apps were using to get access to files and folders under /Android/data and /Android/obb has been patched. As part of Android 11's Scoped Storage restrictions, apps that use the Storage Access Framework (SAF) to launch the documents picker are not supposed to be able to get access to files and folders under the /Android/data or /Android/obb directories. However, third-party file managers figured out that if they set the initial directory when launching the documents picker to either /Android/data or /Android/obb, the documents picker lets the user grant the app full access to directories. This loophole was patched in Android 13, but then another loophole was discovered that got around this. Since Android 13 only blocked apps from setting /Android/data or /Android/obb as the initial directory when launching the documents picker, it was quickly discovered that you could set the initial directory to one of the subdirectories under /Android/data or /Android/obb, thus the user could grant access to individual subdirectories one-by-one. However, this latest loophole was patched with a recent Google Play System Update. The latest version of the DocumentsUI app, the Project Mainline module that comprises the documents picker, now restricts the initial location for the ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT/_TREE intent so that apps cannot request the initial location to be one of /Android/data, /Android/sandbox, /Android/obb, or one of their subdirectories. If the DocumentsUI app (AKA 'Files' app) on your device is on version 14-10492947 (version code 340916000), then this loophole is patched.

I made a step by step one-hour tutorial on how to make a VR shooter in Unity! After releasing the first 3-parts of my series on how to make a VR game in Unity 6.2, I wanted to build a VR game from scratch using everything we’ve learned so far. Out of 10 different themes, the one that won the Patreon poll was… a VR Shooter! Here’s the result of that challenge: • A VR rig with climbing locomotion • A pistol with silencer • Guard patrols • A guard AI vision system that can detect the player If you’d like to watch the full tutorial and get the Unity project files, it’s available right now on Patreon : 👉

This app uses AirDrop to send files from your Android phone to your Macbook! Yes, it actually uses AirDrop. That means you don't have to install ANYTHING on your Mac to send files from your Android phone! Here's a video of a Galaxy Z Flip 5 AirDropping a file to a Macbook running macOS Ventura 13.5.1. (Thanks to u/FragmentedChicken for testing this app for me and sharing the video!) A few months ago, Twitter user @Linus13499209 brought an app called WarpShare to my attention. WarpShare is an app made by the developers of MoKee, an AOSP-based custom ROM that was popular in China. Since MoKee wasn't as popular outside of China, it seems the existence of their WarpShare app slipped under the radar. I was skeptical about whether it would work at all. Grishka, the developer of NearDrop, an open source port of Google's Nearby Share to macOS, told me that they were under the assumption that AirDrop requires the use of AWDL (Apple Wireless Direct Link, Apple's proprietary WiFi-based protocol) to communicate both ways. However, it seems that AWDL is only required for your Android phone to be discoverable by your Mac (ie. to send files from your Mac to your Android phone) but not the other way around. Because of this, though, WarpShare only supports sending files from Android to Mac but not vice versa. Your Mac also needs to have AirDrop discoverability set to "everyone" for this to work, as "contacts-only" requires Apple-signed certificates. Plus, it also doesn't support sending files from Android to iPhones or iPads, even when "everyone" mode is enabled. Still, if you find other Android --> Mac file sharing options to be lackluster, give WarpShare a try! The fact that it works at all is incredible, which is why I'm sharing this news here. If you want to download WarpShare on your Android device, you'll need to compile the app from its source code. If you're a Patron/X subscriber, however, I will share my compiled APK with you. I showed this video to a few friends before telling them it was AI. Every single one believed it was a real creator. They thought someone had picked up a camera, filmed the shots, recorded the voiceover, and edited everything together. None of that happened. The person isn't real. The voice isn't real. The video wasn't filmed. The entire thing was created using Arcads AI. What's fascinating isn't just how realistic the face looks—it's the tiny details. The natural expressions, the eye contact, the pacing, the body language, and the way everything comes together to feel like authentic UGC. We're moving into a world where creating high-quality content no longer requires a camera, actors, or a production team. If you have an idea, AI can turn it into a video in minutes. This technology is improving incredibly fast, and the gap between AI-generated content and traditional creator content is getting smaller with every update. If you're a founder, marketer, or creator, it's worth paying attention. Comment "Send" and I'll share the exact workflow I used to create this video.

three GitHub projects show how much vision can fit inside an ESP32-S3 esp32-camera handles the first layer: sensor data, JPEG frames, PSRAM, and frame buffers 🖇️ once the camera pipeline works, esp-who adds ready-made vision tasks such as face detection, pedestrian detection, and QR recognition 🖇️ the third project explores a smaller but more ambitious setup: training and deploying a custom vision model directly on the microcontroller 🖇️ put the pieces together and the loop becomes straightforward: capture an image run the model turn the result into a decision trigger something in the physical world a light, a servo, an MQTT event, or a local log the useful part is the short path from something the camera sees to something the hardware does

chat even without wi-fi and mobile data it's called protestchat it never asks for a network (repo in replies) e.g. Delhi rolled portable jammers into a protest on july 20 and cut mobile data with it so this dev built a fix 2.4 ghz stays wide open the entire time every other messenger dies the second the internet does BUT this one no > phones hand msgs to each other over bluetooth le > zero routing, every phone carries every unexpired envelope and offers it to whoever it meets > the recipient is just whoever can decrypt it > walk out of the jammed zone and your phone delivers the queue for people still stuck inside > 6 hour expiry, panic wipe, fresh key per message > 72 tests on the crypto and mesh layer > MIT and no account anywhere so if u dont have an internet or gov jammed it just use this repo to text someone how it works:

#HaloCampaignEvolved has some forced post-processing effects, such as film grain, that can't be disabled, even when using the Low Post-Processing quality setting. If these effects bother you, here's how to get rid of them and make the image look much cleaner: 1-Press Windows + R, type %localappdata%, and click OK. 2-Navigate to: Meteorite\Saved\Config\Windows 3-Create a new text file named Engine, then change its extension from .txt to .ini. 4-Open the file and add the following lines: [SystemSettings] r.FilmGrain=0 r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 Don't forget to save. 6-Right click Engine.ini, go to Properties, and enable Read-only to prevent the game from deleting the file.

Reya is bringing high performance trading to the Ethereum L1 in a way not seen since DeFi Summer: atomically composable with the L1 ecosystem. We used to call it money legos. That means more ways for users to combine DeFi applications. More ways to hedge, express views and find edges as the system evolves. This is a new type of trading layer. One built for a new world. One built for you.
