And in order to have such a long-standing peace for Ukraine and for the whole continent, we do need the security guarantees. And the first one is clearly a credible Ukrainian army for the years and decades to come. And the second one is our own commitments, all of us. You can be sure that Europeans are very lucid about the fact that they have their fair share in the security guarantees for Ukraine, but their own security is clearly at stake in this situation.

We discussed the future of Ukraine, security guarantees, and the outcomes of the meetings in Washington. Separately, we also focused on how frozen Russian assets can be used for Ukraine’s recovery. A united voice and a common position in Europe are of particular importance. I am grateful to the parliamentarians for their support and shared vision that Ukraine must be part of the European Union.

I thank everyone engaged in this effort. We are building up our own production, and this is essential. I also met with the Defense Ministers of partner countries who came to us on Independence Day. This is a great sign of solidarity with our warriors and with all Ukrainian people. We discussed the significance of developing Ukraine’s defense industry, cooperation in various formats, and security guarantees for Ukraine, which are crucial both for the future of our state and for the security of the entire Europe. I am grateful for the support and the readiness to continue working together for the security of our country.
