Less than two weeks since our last update, and we've launched a new version of our perception model, Comic 4.3. It's much much faster — now the fastest pro quality motion capture! Best of all, it's just as fast for multiple characters as for a single character. And, you can batch process all your shots at the same time. Took a deep dive into Unreal Engine’s new Markerless MoCap plugin just released and am really impressed. It is a game changer for this quality of mocap to be accessible to everyone for FREE. The 30 sec video took 6 mins to process on a 5090 GPU so patience is key. The raw data you get is impressive though! Captures nice nuance and even doesn’t break when my hand goes out of frame. I’ll be continuing to do some experiments and share results. Can’t wait to hook it up to Impulse to start to build dances at scale! Congrats to Michael Black & team for the excellent work and commitment to bring mocap to the masses.

Turning video into humanoid robot motion! 🤳🏼 Training humanoid robots needs huge amounts of motion data, but real-world capture doesn’t scale. Mocap is expensive, dangerous edge cases are rare, and you can’t ask humans to repeatedly fall or crash. Video2Robot tackles this by converting videos into physics-grounded humanoid simulations. Motion is generated to respect balance, inertia, ground contact, and joint limits, then directly retargeted to robot simulators. One prompt can generate a full humanoid motion sequence, including multi-agent interactions and failure cases like falls or collisions, scenarios that are hard or impossible to capture safely in the real world. The pipeline is model-agnostic and works with existing video generators, making it a practical way to scale data for robots. If robots are going to operate in the real world, they need to be trained on the failures too, not just the perfect demos. I think I've written the world's fastest Blender exporter. It exports full levels in 9 milliseconds. Check out this video where I show live editing of levels from blender, and it updates instantly in the game. For some context: Okay, since the beginning of development on this game project, I knew I didn't want to write a custom level editor for it and rather spend my time programming the game. I decided to use blender as the level editor, and export directly from blender to my game engine's file format. Blender only lets you write add-ons in Python, which is not just incredibly slow but also a terrible platform for this kind of systems programming work. So, after having a Python exporter for the longest time, I decided enough was enough, and I programmed this exporter in C. Blender doesn't expose any C API or interface. So my only option was to download Blender's source code and insert my code directly into Blender. And that's what I did :) So this new C exporter not only is orders of magnitude faster than the python version, but also is way more robust. And because I'm in C land, my hands are much freer to do things. There are two elements of secret sauce that make this exporter run so fast: - A custom memory arena implementation. - Lockless multithreading.

What a spot for a trail camera! We put this camera out on a small footpath this winter for the first time just out of curiosity. We do a lot of trial and error to find good spots that wolves like to use often. The little trail is pretty close to the intersection of 3 different pack territories and we figured it might be a good place…and it was. We captured more footage of wolves and other animals on this camera that are not in this video. This video is just the highlights. Most of the other videos are at night. Notably, for every camera like this that gets great footage, we probably have 4 or 5 that are duds…and since they are duds, we don’t share that footage online!

Here is how you turn a #GaussianSplatting into a walkable world with 2 clicks. First of all, do yourself a favour and try out PostShot. The splat you see was created from a 3-minute video taken with my phone. It ran for around 12 hours on a laptop with a 3060, and the output was beyond my expectations! That being said, whatever tool or app you use to create your Splat, you can import it directly into arrival.space from there you can: - Clean it up and compress it thanks to the direct integration with Supersplat Editor - Generate a rough mesh (that you can export with a paid plan and adjust in Blender ) - Explore it freely on the #web or in #VR Make sure to drop your Space in the comments. not sure why nobody is talking about this but kling 2.6 motion control can actually create near perfect ai ugc Real Video (left) vs AI Video (right) you can pretty much create any video if you're willing to hire someone to just act things out, move around and say things you just need a decent base video of someone performing the actions, a starting image of your desired character and clear prompts for what you want changed this video is literally indistinguishable from real footage it even changed facial features, body composition, clothing and everything without me explicitly telling it to the amount of use cases for this are insane if you think about it this is just a sneak peak of the type of tools we will have access to in 2026

Let me share a long-awaited behind-the-scenes video of how Simulon works. It all starts with setting up a scene. You set the location, lighting conditions and capture the light map with a few turns. After that, you can capture the environment mesh using the Lidar scanner. That's the moment the fun begins. You can bring in your #3D models with animations and capture a video of up to 50" using the #AR preview on screen. After that is done, you send the footage to the cloud and in a couple of minutes you get back an incredible #CGI shot. And this is just the beginning.
