Today, John Carpenter and longtime band mates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies share a second track from ‘Cathedral’ - a project that marks Carpenter’s highly anticipated return to the realm of audio/visual narrative storytelling. Following previously shared track “Lord of The Underground”, today we share the grinding and dramatic track “The Ferryman”, along with imagery from the graphic novel. Johnson @iamtweezy904 The project spans a new album set for release August 7th on Sacred Bones Records alongside his first ever graphic novel, set for release August 4 via Storm King Comics. In a story rich with River Styx iconography, “The Ferryman” scores a scene in which we encounter the subterranean character of the same name. “I like that one because it really seems to feature all three of us in a special way,” Davies says. “It has interesting harmonies that Cody put together and John’s signature pad-style string parts. It’s more of an electronic metal track in a way, but we just wanted to make it as heavy and driving as possible.” Designed as a fully immersive project, ‘Cathedral’ functions as both soundtrack and narrative engine: each track aligns with a chapter of the graphic novel, with liner notes guiding listeners through the story. The Digital ID Will Change the Lives of Every Australian - For the Worse ... As much as the Government attempts to downplay the importance of introducing a single central digital identifier for all Australians, the truth is that this legislation is the most significant I've encountered during my time in the Senate. It's the glue that holds together the digital control agenda by which every Australian will be controlled, corralled, exploited and then gagged when they speak or act in opposition. The government knows Digital ID will be compulsory by the device of preventing access to government services, banking services, air travel and major purchases for any Australian who does not have a Digital ID. The Digital ID will, in effect, create a live data file of your movements, purchases, accounts and associates containing reference to every piece of data being held in the private and government sector as a first step in a wider agenda. Tech giants have been building huge data files on every Australian for years. Those huge data files that contain every website you visited, every post you made on their social media, everything you have ever bought online. Keywords scanned from conversations overheard by Siri and Alexa in your home are now unmasked. Until now, that data was anonymised using a unique identifier rather than name and address, which has always been there as well. However, tech companies were not allowed to use it or share data with others that included the person's name and address. Until Now. Look for the tech giants to ask for your Digital ID as a requirement of using their service. The point of that exercise is to ensure they put the right name on the right data treasure trove. This is why the Liberal Party have moved amendments to the Digital ID Bill to bring private corporations into this roll out earlier. All those treasure troves of data worth billions, trillions, that have been accumulated for years illegally, by retailers, tech and data companies - all that unrealised profit just sitting there has been too much of a temptation for the Liberal Nationals to resist and is now joined with Labor in pushing Digital ID. There will be no escape from the digital ID. Australians now have a digital version of "papers please" and Australians will never be the same.

FINALLY! My first original project is officially done... I spent the last week putting this together, usually a couple hours every night. The ending might be my favorite scene I've ever created. I’ve always wanted to get better with AI, so I finally decided to take a shot at making something from start to finish with Grok Imagine. My process was probably a lot longer than most people would go through, but it gave me a chance to really learn the tools: 1) Brainstormed and created stills for all the characters 2) Mapped out the timeline scene by scene 3) Created stills for every scene 4) Animated each still until I was happy with it 5) Stitched everything together And here's what I got. I ran out of credits a couple times, but thankfully they reset in time for me to make the deadline😂 Really curious to hear what you guys think. And if you have ideas for what I should make next, send them my way. Next, I'm trying out Grok Bot and Grok Voice. For now, enjoy: The Return of Odysseus.

I FINALLY managed to create a point cloud animation 💪 Here is how I did it using #GaussianSplatting, #Blender and 2 add-ons from KIRI Engine - 3D Scanner App . Creating point cloud animations has always been a dream of mine (inspired by masters like ), but the tech to create the point clouds and visual effects was always a huge barrier. Then I discovered these 2 Blender add-ons from Kiri engine after I had a chat with Jack Wang in my podcast, and it changed everything: 1- Create a splat with any tool or app you want 2- Install the free "Point Animate" add-on in Blender 3- Drag the 2 .ply you want to morph from --> to 4- Set source and destination in the add-on side panel At this point you could play around with various settings like noise scatter, noise intensity, wind and more. If you want to combine with the splat as well you can get also the 3DGS render to add cool dissolving effects, fancy lighting and really get the most out of your scans. If you end up using it please tag me. I am curious to see what much more skilled people than me can put together 😉

It took some time for industry experts to create the project for a department that will be completely rebuilt, but we are almost ready to show you what it will be, explaining in detail what we are about to do. All together! Today with this video we want to tell you something else: at the beginning of this summer they told us that the recreational space was now dilapidated. We have therefore made a further commitment: to completely renovate it so that the time that the young patients and their parents have to spend in that place is a little more peaceful. The platform of endless creativity: Ascia is the place to create almost anything and everything art related. Ascia AI is a 100% solo project that I've been working on for the past three months. It's been a journey of ups and downs, but in the end, I've built something that I truly believe the artistic/crypto community would appreciate. The final result (even though its only the start) was unexpected. Initially, my goal was to create a standard AI project designer. But then, I came up with the idea of combining standard digital art with a reimagined ASCII art style, assisted by "creative agents". Currently, these creative agents work on the backend, conditioned to output a near-perfect project for your crypto token, business project or just for fun. As for the frontend agents, users will soon be able to create their own creative agent. They will adapt and learn from your ideas to output the exact visions you have. Now, to support the future of Ascia, I've created the $ASCIA token. It will help with growth, funding and to get the name out there. This has essentially become my full-time job now, so I’m in deep. It’s an interview with journalist Whitney Webb explaining - Digital ID, where the idea came from, who are the stakeholders and beneficiaries of it, the immense power and control you will cede to Govt and corporations. The project will also introduce new Nemesis encounters and boss fights, redesigned item placement and progression, brand-new puzzles and gameplay mechanics, and a reworked crafting system featuring multiple new gunpowder types. Robert Wise on why he doesn't like to work with the original writers of novels for screenplay & why the screenwriters should get due credit for their work: "Interviewer: What was Michael Crichton like to work with in those days or did you work with him ever on the 'The Andromeda Strain' (1971)? Wise: I didn't work with him ever on that. I didn't ask him to do the Screenplay. I feel very often that the original author of the book is so tied into that material and so close to it whatnot that he can't see through where it needs to be changed and adapted and cut and pulled together and all that you have to do with every kind of monkey has so much material. So I've rarely ever used the original author. Interviewer: A fair percentage of your work is adapted from either a novel or a short story leaving aside musical theater for the moment, how do you account for that? Intent? Circumstances? Wise: Circumstances. You finish one film, and shift and turn over the studio then you look for your next project you know it just happened the way they happen to come. Interviewer: Have you ever seen a film made from a book where you felt disappointment as so many viewers often do I didn't see the character that way they changed the ending have you ever had those reactions? Wise: I probably have but I can't give you chapter version of that. Interviewer: what about the script writers you've worked with in general, in your opinion are they writers with a capital 'W' that deserve every bit as much respect as a novelist would? Wise: Yes, I think they do I think they do particularly if they're writing if they're writing an original screenplay not if they're adapting a book or something type of thing. I don't think that screenwriters are getting nearly as much credit as they should be for what they contributed. It all starts with that script. Ramsey Lewis Trio - “Summer Breeze” (1973) If it can be said that music is often in conversation with other music, then you will find no better direct example of this than the cover song. Despite the mechanical licensing rules that apply to the permissibility of cover songs, there are an infinite number of ways to do a cover song; ergo, to do your own *version and unique interpretation of a pre-existing song. The tradition of covering songs spans every genre. But in jazz, the tradition of instrumentalists covering songs that include vocals is a special medium. And then there’s the tradition of what I call “re-soulifying” rock songs… Here, we have the Ramsey Lewis Trio covering “Summer Breeze,” the 1972 hit by folk rock duo Seals & Crofts (Jim Seals and Dash Crofts). The Isely Brothers reworked “Summer Breeze” for their album ‘3+3’ (1973) — itself a masterpiece that took the original Seals & Crofts song from 3 minutes to 6 minutes ! — so I’m not sure if the Ramsey Lewis Trio was inspired by The Isley Brothers’ cover or, if like The Isley Brothers, they simply moved fast to cover a recent hit. In any event, what emerges from the Ramsey Lewis Trio’s cover is a subdued yet powerful jazz-soul-funk fusion number that conjures up the sound and feel of an early ‘70s after hours lounge…

Hundreds of foreigners from 48 different countries are currently being held by Ukraine as prisoners of war after fighting for Russia. Many of them have already spent more than two years in captivity. The I Want to Live project has identified over 28,000 foreign nationals serving in the Russian military. At least 5,149 are confirmed dead and that’s only the ones that have actually been identified. Ukraine went through tooth and nail to get myself and 9 other foreign volunteers released, because they believed their people were worth bringing home. Meanwhile Russia refuses to do the same for the foreigners who fought under its flag, even when there’s a real chance those men could go home, whether that’s to Russia or back to the countries they originally came from. That alone says everything. Russia was willing to use these foreigners to fight and die for them, but when it comes to getting them back, they don’t seem to care at all. A simple foreigners for foreigners exchange could bring a lot of these men home, yet Russia still refuses.

After many failed attempts, I finally got to fly aboard the Airbus A220 “Wookie” and it did not disappoint! VIE-FRA on Air Baltic filling in for Austrian Airlines for the summer demand. We get to the gate at FRA and they allowed me for a cockpit visit. All the passengers deplaned and by the time I got to the top of the jet bridge, they locked the door to the terminal on me. I was taping on the glass door and waving my arms trying to get anyone’s attention but nobody noticed me. So I had to hit the emergency alarm button to release the door lock to let me into the terminal. It was hilarious because all of a sudden this siren starts blaring and I come waddling off the jet bridge. They all kinda looked at me at first like, “WTF is going on here?!” Then they realized they locked me out of the terminal and apologized. I will never forget my first Wookie flight! PS. We call it the “Wookie” because the GTF engines on the 220 sound like Chewbacca from Star Wars. The experience as a passenger on this little Canadian built piggy was fantastic! The windows are huge and so is the lavatory. It’s inspired me to go visit Latvia.

After many failed attempts, I finally got to fly aboard the Airbus A220 “Wookie” and it did not disappoint! VIE-FRA on Air Baltic filling in for Austrian Airlines for the summer demand. We get to the gate at FRA and they allowed me for a cockpit visit. All the passengers deplaned and by the time I got to the top of the jet bridge, they locked the door to the terminal on me. I was taping on the glass door and waving my arms trying to get anyone’s attention but nobody noticed me. So I had to hit the emergency alarm button to release the door lock to let me into the terminal. It was hilarious because all of a sudden this siren starts blaring and I come waddling off the jet bridge. #リチャアヤ Happy Qixi! On this traditional Chinese festival, my friend and I have prepared this fan video, and we hope you enjoy it. BGM: ALONE to ALONE (feat. lasah)-sasakure.UK Illustrations: torimomo Video: Mist Since Mist-sensei's account ran into some issues, I'm relaying and attaching both of our creative notes here. Mist： The initial storyboards for this fan-made video were drawn by me, and I had been thinking about how to present it ever since the first season of the anime ended. The BD novel also gave me a lot of inspiration afterward. Before formally starting this project, I kept asking myself over and over: "Is my interpretation good enough?" "Will our understanding conflict with the original novel?" What changed my mind and gave me encouragement was precisely what Dumas said in the FGO×FSF collab—if your creation can bring people true joy and emotion, then even if it is "Fake," it still has value in existing. So, in a sense, wouldn't fan-made derivative works based on Narita-sensei's "Fake" original all count as "Fake of Fake"? In this year of 2026, I witnessed with my own eyes the novel I had followed for ten years finally receive an anime adaptation. I also came to know a warm and passionate community of fellow fans who speak different languages. And it is precisely because of this that I was able to meet torimomo-sensei and other friends. Sometimes I wonder—are these the friendships that could only bloom and bear fruit after ten years of waiting? And in the novel, Richard and Ayaka have likewise been by each other's side for ten years, and are now about to welcome the final chapter of their story. In my eyes, the two of them were once lonely children of the stars, but after a long passage of time, those two stars welcomed their Fate in Snowfield. No matter how many times I revisit their first meeting, it stirs in me much the same emotion. Allright! At that moment, I thought: "I've finally found the courage to take this first step into creating derivative works for Fake. Come on—now that my skills have matured enough, let me pour my heart and talent into them!" This is a fan work created together by torimomo-sensei and me, dedicated to Fate/strange Fake and to our beloved Richaya. Although it is likewise only "Fake," if this fan video can bring "True" emotions to friends who love Richaya—then, for me, that would be an incomparable honor. Torimomo: From first receiving the storyboards and drawing a few pages on and off, to finally mustering all my energy and drawing in earnest from the beginning of July—during this past month and a half, almost all of my thoughts, energy, and passion were poured into the illustrations for this PV. It was only partway through drawing that I realized, "Wait, it seems Mist's storyboards weren't meant to be fully colored after all..." (laughs). But since I had already come this far, and both the art style and rhythm had already become second nature, I decided to see it through to the end according to my own interpretation. I also changed quite a few of the storyboards along the way, and I am truly grateful to Mist for being so accepting of these modifications and creative liberties. To me, Richaya is a beam of light. I love the relationship between them, bound by the pull of fate; I love how they encourage and support each other; and I also love the perfect amount of negative space in Fate/strange Fake. It is precisely because of that negative space that different people can give rise to different imaginations and expectations—and that, in itself, is the greatest joy of derivative creation. I have so many imaginings of Richaya born from the wish that "they can be happy." Ever since I met Richaya this year, I have been drawing without pause. I don't hold back from pouring every image and story I can think of that suits them into my art. And it was precisely because of this that I was able to form a connection with Mist—through exchange after exchange of inspiration, each of us went on to create even more wonderful works about Richaya. This animated PV is one of them. For me, simply being able to see it through to the end was already more than enough to make me happy. And after Mist-sensei's post-production polish and editing, it ultimately came together as such a complete video. I'm truly satisfied. Lastly, thank you to everyone who was willing to take the time to watch this video through to the end.
