@Sodapoppintv Hot take: If gold selling or RMT isn’t addressed long term and if the developers continue to turn a blind eye it, then it becomes a feature. Why waste 10 hours farming gold when you can work an hour at some part time job and buy twice the amount you’d have farmed anyway.

This is obvious. The ban waves are optics to appease those that complain about the obvious botting. Blizzard then makes a shitload right after from new subs .. blizzard ban waves happen right after the majority of those accounts pay their sub fee. And then have to pay another right away. Blizzard are double dipping on the gold seller market this way. 2 subs paid in a month ..the gold sellers do it because they’re making lots of money anyways.
